Summary
Viki is a vision, worth waiting a lifetime for, let alone the five minutes he needed to set up. It’s knelt by the bed, the frame Jayce built holding it in perfect position, head down so the soft waves cover its face. The hand-forged golden chain snakes from beneath its legs, slack against the floor and hooked onto the ring built into the bedframe.
Jayce wants to snatch it up, hold it tight in his arms and bask in the applause the bells that adorn the pet’s body would ring out with every movement. Even something small, like going straight to sleep in each other’s arms would feel like heaven. Instead…A belated Day 1 for Dom Top Jayce Week

Summary
Jayce had never been more comfortably warm in his bed, and the fact that his alarm had yet to sound but somehow he was awake made him even more determined to enjoy the sensation. He’d always ran too hot, the fire of the forge burnt strong in him his Papa had teased, but for some reason the heat was pleasant, even with the duvet managing to stay in position the whole night. As sensations slowly began to wake up, he scoffed when he realised that again he’d ended up hugging the pillow in his sleep, and tried to ignore the little voice in the back of his head that reminded him of how long it’d been since he’d gotten laid.
To his horror, the pillow shifted in his arms and he threw himself back, crashing into the cold wall behind him. When his vision finally settled, he nearly pinched himself at the sight.

“I’m so sorry,” he says again. “But I…ah. Think I am going to throw up.”
Jayce scrambles back instinctively. “What-”
He makes a strangled sound, his gag reflex taking over, and Jayce lunges for…things. Trash can, hoodie. His own cupped hands, apparently.
But before he can even find the side of the bed, Viktor politely gathers the duvet out of the way, folds in half, and vomits all over it anyway.
There's a stretch of profound silence. Then Jayce says, very intelligently: “Okay.”

Or: Jayce assumes the most complicated part about hooking up with Viktor will be the morning after. He’s right but also so, so wrong.
