“Wait,” Steve grabs Eddie's hand before he flies away. “Stay?” His eyes are worn and a hint of fear shimmers underneath.
“This is really scary,” he admits. “I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t know when I’ll suddenly disappear. Maybe I’ll just disappear for good? It’d be nice if there was someone familiar around. Plus,” Steve adds with a weary grin, “you were probably busy before I intruded.”
In 1984, Eddie finds himself in front of a rugged version of the preppy jock he’s only peripherally aware of at school. Compelled by Steve's tale of time travel, Eddie invites him to hide in his trailer until he can return to his proper place and time in 1986.

But…I was afraid…I don’t know if you want…” His sentence falters and he presses a hand to his stomach, inhaling slowly like he’s trying to soothe more nausea.
It takes Ilya’s brain a few moments to process, to catch up, to piece together this half-filled puzzle Shane’s laying out for him.
“We talked about having babies,” Ilya supplies, arching an eyebrow, “are you trying to say we are…having a baby?”
Shane sucks in another slow, controlled breath. “Um, yeah. That’s what I’m trying to say.”
“You are pregnant?”
Wincing, the shorter man nods. “Mhm.”

Omg that was the best Sterek fic I’ve read in awhile because it was so vulnerable, realistic and just.. the perfect amount of angst. So friggin’ incredible. The ending is so bittersweet 😭
