    Summary

A huge case of mistaken identity leads to Phainon being tackled at a cosplay convention by a beautiful man dressed up as his mortal enemy, the warrior King Mydeimos of Castrum Kremnos.

In a freak twist of fate, Phainon discovers that this man is, in fact, the real King Mydeimos, who mistook Phainon for the real Flame Reaver, the maniacal necromancer who once brought Amphoreus to her knees. It was all just a misunderstanding! No big deal, really…

…Well, besides the fact that both King Mydeimos and the Flame Reaver died on the battlefield 7,000 years ago.

Together, they unravel the mystery of how the presumably deceased King wound up in modern day Amphoreus and why Phainon looks so similar to the sorcerer who may have had something to do with it.

    Summary

When the Gods fell millennia ago, Phainon had fallen with them.

Now he is the last. A remnant of times long ago, a fragment of divinity cast to the mortal world and tied to the great God-Kings of Sak-Kahn-Ko. He is theirs to do as they please; to serve each father and son and son of his son, unageing, undying, unchanging. He does not see the sun rise each day. He does not see it set.

Come a springtime he can only hear in the sigh of the wind, the God-King he serves has guests to visit. Many guests, from all corners of the mapped world, there to pledge allegiance to Sak-Kahn-Ko, to bow to the one great enough to own a God.

But one guest is strange. He does not look to Phainon’s humiliation with glee or envy or pride. He does not look at all.

Mydeimos of Castrum Kremnos looks, instead, to the God-King he must bow to; and he looks with anger, at the one who owns the divine. He looks with rage.

Hanzo was given only two rules: He had to buy something, but it could not be something he would use for work or something he purchased for another person. He knew instantly what he wanted—a way to relieve himself at the end of the day. Like Genji, sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, or McCree lurking in his own secretive ways. This would have made it all worth it.

    Except...

The package he received was the exact opposite of the self-care he wanted.

    It was too...blunt. Too...angry.

    Too red.
