The original intention had been a Harry reincarnated into the Naruto world while exploring some of the darker possibilities of Root. Then I decided to see if I could write this without it taking 100K+ words. I also enjoy Japanese yokai and Shinto religion which make an appearance, in varying ways and significance, within this one-shot instead of the canon alien god thing that explains the bijuu, etc..Bookmarked by ustrowsing

Summary
Harry Evans loved his sister Lily. He took being just a few minutes earlier than her very seriously in his role as a brother. Even before they were born, he always made sure his sister and mother were safe. It meant showing off his magic way too early, but he didn't care if it meant his family was safe. Growing up was an experience he never had before and was able to see a different side of Petunia Dursley nee Evans, he adored her nearly as much as his own twin. Attending Hogwarts with his sister (previously mother) was an experience in itself as he finally met his father from his previous life along with Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Now maybe he can stop them from screwing up his and Lily's relationship with their best friend Severus. Of course, being in this time period also meant he could dismantle Voldemort before he really amassed followers, well that was just a side-effect of being born a generation early.
