Summary
Harry is removed from the Dursley family when he is eight years old, and enters the wizarding world a few years younger and a lot wiser. He discovers a surprising dark heritage, and develops goals that do not involve vanquishing a certain Dark Lord or becoming the Chosen One. Adopted into the Black family, Harry will fight against the expectation that he is to defeat the Dark Lord and instead dedicates himself to protecting the dark legacy that has been left to him.

I want to add my support of you and of this world you have built. And add my apologies that you have been the target of people who don’t realize that if they don’t like the story they could just not read it!
Unfortunately it seems there are always a small percentage of people who seek to make others feel bad about themselves, especially where creativity is involved.
The world building in this story is impressive and well developed. The characters are engaging. The story is unique, and I would love to see it continuing.
But whether you complete this story or not, please don’t let a small group of people silence your amazing voice.

“Are you trying to get killed, Potter?” Malfoy drawls, stalking forward. Quick as a serpent himself, he reaches out and grabs the snake just below the head. It thrashes in his grip, but is no longer able to bite anyone. “This is a poisonous snake, and I doubt anyone brought a bezoar with them.”
Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –
Malfoy’s eyes widen. He slaps his hand over Harry’s mouth, “Potter, what the hell–”
