Scott’s decision was purely logical. Of course it was. He was very tired after his who-knows-how long nap, and he deserved a break! So, naturally, it was logical and safe to become a bat. It was also logical to stay that way. Though, maybe staying as a bat forever might be bit much. Oh well, Scott was no quitter!

Summary
The voices are a pain in the neck. Or should Joel say head instead, considering their nature being, well, voices?
It’s been a few days since they’ve been trying to taunt him, but he’s already used to their antics, so it’s getting more of a minor convenience in the background than anything. He hates to admit it, but there are times that it’s working. Whenever he looks at someone, his hand can’t help but grip on the sword on his waist. There was even a time when he woke up in the middle of town, barefoot and holding his soaked blade, subconsciously attempting to offer blood for the blood god.
However, he wills himself not to give in as much as it pains him. It’d be so easy to let go, but he can’t afford to trouble his friends. If it means risking his well-being, he’ll do anything to keep everyone safe. Even from himself.
OR a 3+1 fic where three times Joel's friends try but failed to get him to take care of himself, and the one time it's successful.

Summary
Ghosts don't always have to really exist to be real. Sometimes, no spirit is left behind and yet... still... people, places, things... they become haunted. The ghosts appear in the little things, the reminders of who had once been and who wasn't anymore. A space notable for its vacancy. Grian had ghosts, he should have many more than he did, all things considered. He had taken enough lives, left enough vacancies in the universe and yet? He only really had two, and one had already died long before she started haunting him.
