It’s been three years since the collapse of the Final Order and the trio have gone their separate ways.
Poe has become a senator of Prime Republic, working vigorously to put the galaxy back in a state of peace and prosperity like Senator Leia Organa and Shara Bey would have wanted.
Rey has become the Grandmaster of the New Jedi Order. Slowly, but surely, rebuilding the order into a force of good and hope. After the Battle of Exogol, Rey returned to the Lars Homestead, burying the Skywalker Lightsabers and declaring herself a Skywalker. With a new sense of identity and purpose, she ventured on her own path.
Finn has become a sentinel of galaxy. Discovering his force sensitivity his own way, he forged his own destiny. Not a Jedi, something else. Finn’s found his calling doing what he loves: helping others.At the ratification of the Prime Republic Treaty on Courescant, the trio reunites. More importantly, Finn and Rey do. Reflecting on their storied past, they finally confront their feelings for each other in an explosive fashion.

Set after the Trio hug and then after the burial of the of the Skywalker lightsabers. We see Rey and Finn grapple with the events of Exogol including the kiss and Ben dying. After Rey explains what happened to her and her feelings for Ben Solo aka the formerly villainous Kylo Ren, we see rift form between the two best friends. Together can they heal each others (physical and emotionally) scars?
Inspired by a tweet in which OP said Kylo got his scars erased while Finn has to live with his. That just didn't seem right.

"What?" She asked.
"Umm."Poe's a hotshot race car driver ready for the biggest race in his career. While he's just won a championship. His next challenge is coming in the form of the Monaco Grand Prix, and he needs his friends help.
Finn is his best friend, who acts as a charity liaison towards orphaned and underprivileged kids. He doesn't like where this is going.
Rey is Poe's trusted mechanic. Together, with her boyfriend Ben, they make the difference in his races. She's never seen this Finn guy Poe keeps talking about.
When Poe needs Finn and Rey to take the car down to Monaco, they go on a journey of self discovery together. That, or unfortunate antics ensue.
