Summary
This is an original work containing the A/B/O dynamics and Dragon riders. It's a fantasy world inspired by ancient Norse myths and creatures as well as other pantheons such as Greek and Egyptian. Pierce an intersex omega lives in the village of Runatalia. His life is forever changed when the war between the kingdoms comes to his village during a harsh winter. He sacrifices himself for the sake of his remaining village members to the enemy kingdom's army. What will happen to him after he is taken?

They are The Old Guard, known as such by the simple virtue of being the oldest order of the Dragon Guard in all the city-states. But they serve no sovereigns, they operate on their own, having divorced themselves from serving any crown long ago.
Their duty is to serve the people, to protect them, and too often rulers issue an edict that harms. They will do what they believe is right and they will stop at nothing to protect their makeshift family.

- the fanfic is basically from the books, although I took the liberty of taking some characters from the series and accepting some changes that were made in the series, all this with the purpose of making the story better.
- however, the characters in the fanfic are based on the descriptions in the books.
