If there is one thing Dr. Victoria Falkenberg has learned in her years of diplomatic service, it's that lack of information is the nemesis of her profession. Then again, secrecy and classified intelligence are her daily bread and butter. So what if she is told she is in consideration for a posting outside of her regular rotation that requires suspicious amounts of secrecy? This shortly after reunification, it ought at least to be interesting. Sometimes, going in blind really is the best (and only) thing one can do.

Sam has mostly enjoyed growing up around Alfea, learning with his dad and his sister in the greenhouse and later on playing pranks on the students or his family. His ability to go through walls provides him with a great opportunity to use the school’s many rooms and chambers to his advantage, but also potentially endangers other people's privacy.
Or one time Sam learned that there's a reason people should knock.

Summary
Season 7 Episode 17: the year is 2003 and the UN Security Council is informed of the existence of the Stargate programme. Senator Robert Kinsey tries, and fails, once more to take control of the organisation, but the council agrees the man has a point: an undertaking of such global significance should receive professional civilian input. Recent events however, make the creation of a corresponding posting difficult: there is little more the member states can agree on and so it is decided to refer to a third party that, in continuation of their previous role as mediator, can fairly represent all nations' interests to the galaxy…
