Summary
Ochako Uraraka has a simple life. School, church club, baking club, Mina's house, home. She never leaves her hometown of Shima, and she doesn't think she'll ever want to. She's content with the normalcy of her colorless existence, and she's determined to maintain it for as long as time will allow her. However, her plans are thwarted when, Himiko, the daughter of Pastor Takashi Toga, joins her church group called the Good Samaritan Club. Well, turns out Himiko isn't much of a good samaritan at all; she wreaks havoc, turning Ochako's perfect life upside down and ripping her carefully crafted picture of regularity right down the middle. But that's not all. Sewn into the surface of the new girl's creepy grin, taunting eyes, and infuriating behavior is a desperate cry for help that is as clear to Ochako as it is invisible to everybody else.
