“A heart’s a heavy burden,” Jisung says, along with Sophie’s character. He clutches his chest, entranced by the movie. Jisung is unreal, Minho thinks.
Howl loves Sophie, and Sophie loves Howl. No matter the age, the time, the place.
“I love you, Jisung,” Minho whispers, before he can even process the words leaving his mouth.
Jisung’s eyes are on him now, pulled away from the screen. They are wide, scared, uncertain at best. Minho snakes his fingers between Jisung’s. Both of their hands are damp, clammy, but that’s okay. He squeezes, roles reversed. Maybe Minho’s the one timing the beat now, hoping Jisung can match the pace of his heart. Ba-bump, ba-bump.
