Palistrom wood wasn’t easy to come by, at least not in this region of the Isles. He had dragged Rosalyn down and back to aid him in obtaining his own palistrom wood so that neither of them would have to spend a fortune buying one block of it from the street vendors.
Carving a palisman had been his own idea. He had been so fixated on trying to make one, considering the benefits of studying one, and ignoring all the times that Philip protested he would be corrupting himself if he went through with it.
Now that the wood was in front of him …he didn’t know what to make of it.
