Summary
A blizzard has been roaring for days with no sign of letting up anytime soon, and March was starting to feel as cold and miserable on the inside as the blizzard was making him feel on the outside. It didn’t help that this god forsaken storm was preventing him from pounding out his frustration at the forge, the only reprieve that could improve his sour mood or get his mind off the thousands of possibilities that could be happening down south of town.
Everyone knew that Hayden and the farmer kept emergency plans to help prevent one or the other from going without when bad weather closed off access to town. Their houses weren’t too far from one another's, so of course it made obvious sense, but March was still unable to settle the unease in his mind that was making its way down to his gut.

"…I wish I dreamt of your true form too."
His eyebrows rose. "Oh?"
"Yeah. I… I don't recall much about it, since it's been so long since…everything. But I do remember, when you would speak to me in my dreams, being so overcome with awe. I…would love to see it more often."
"Hmm…" He pulled his hand back to tap his chin thoughtfully. "I…may be able to arrange something."

Excerpt:
……
God, she felt exhausted. She took a moment before heading inside, leaning her head against the wood and laughing to herself. Knowing that from now on, her life wouldn’t be simple, but something inside her didn’t want simple.
What did she want?
She thought back to their conversation, the way March had touched her, been open and so honest for the first time since they’d met. That’s what she wanted.
God, she wanted March.
…….Or, March can be a dick, everybody knows that. But our protagonist seems to like it, and her persistence (despite her anxiety) pays off.
