amazing, left me starstruck and absolutely devastated after finishing, cause i knew the last update was in 2016 and i still decidedto read it, not expecting to love it, but i did, i really did fall in love with this fic. their relationship, their closeness, the way they are so different from canon but yet somehow the same. THE BED SHARING, THE HOT MOMENTS AND THE ANGST AND EVERYTHING WITH IT WAS JUST GODLYYYYYYY LOVE LOVE LOVE. dean choosing sam over everything else? love. them constantly touching each other (not even sexually, or romantically) love!!!!!!!!! ugh this is all i ever wanted, why is this unfinished…… WILL BE REREAD !!
okay, have reread it already, not even a week after, and let me tell you, this fic will infact be taken to my grave to rest beside my soul for all of eternity. i cant believe i found this gem, and yes, i still do mourn the fact that it hasn<#t been updated since fucking 2026, but at least it stopped at a happy note, and not a cliffhanger, and ykw, after leading me through this journey (and all that touchy-codedependent-bedsharing), and angst and feelings and just so good writing and fricking everything, the story itself was rewarding enough. genuinely everything i ever wanted in a wincest fic, the slowest of slow burns, anything thats included in their codependence, long fiction, interesting plot, close enough to canon and ugh. can't get them or this out of my head. will not be the same, am not the same, actually, and i won't ever be able to read a wincest fic again without thinking of this one, and how i could've been reading this instead....
also, this has forever engrained the association of "wicked game" (at least the incredible instrumental) witht his fic, meaning i will always think of this the moment i listen to it, since it's played on repeat all of the 26hours i spent enjoying this.
additionally to that, mentioning how it only took a little more than a day to finish the brother's blood series, just highlights how enthralled and enamored it had me.

fuuucicuucucucckkkkkng helllll I can't believe they don't even kiss. But still, it's so beautiful and warm and delicious (if angsty/frustrating at times, but not overly so. Even in those moments, I know they love and value each other above all else). And fucking thankfully (because this really was messing with my emotions), it leaves off at a good spot, so I'm not left writhing in pain. Def reread sometime, cakkkkeee.
oh yeah also, as I commented, these two are the shit when it comes to emotional edging. As you can tell by them never even kissing 😐😭
