Inko Midoriya was stressed out. She had just came home from hospital visiting Izuku, who was recuperating from more broken bones. The doctor said that if Izuku broke his arms again Izuku would mostly likely get paralyzed in his arms. To top it all off, Bakugou Katsuki has been kidnapped and a boy named Tokoyami was almost kidnapped by The League of Villains.
So she was having the worst year in her life. She was happy that Izuku had developed his own quirk but he was too much like herself when I was that age, too reckless and impulsive. When Izuku had been suddenly working out and eating a bunch (more so than usual) she had thought that Izuku was getting his exercise and she at the time hoped that Izuku was moving forward with his life. After all not everyone is meant to be a Hero. In hindsight however and reading the latest research on Quirks, she had learned that quirks can "Awaken" or the technical term was "Spontaneous Quirk Mutation or SQM for short" and Inko Midoriya had taken Izuku to the doctor as soon as Izuku manifested his own quirk. The doctor had said that sometimes quirks are unable to obtained at the typical age. Sometimes quirks can manifest themselves at puberty which is what the doctor believes happened.
Anyway Inko was jarred out of her thoughts when her phone rang. It was Hisashi, Inko immediately answered the phone. "Hello Hisashi, I know that your worried about Izuku but just regained consciousness and there's been no news about Katsuki...." Hisashi spoke with worried tone to his voice "Inko, when you told me that Izuku had manifested his own quirk I was so happy with the news but, U.A. refusing to adequately adapt to Izuku's situation is absolutely deplorable. After all Izuku is like a toddler in terms of control of his quirk." Hisashi's voice shifted to his business and stately voice, the voice he uses to intimidate his workers that had disappointed him. "Inko, I'm going to come back to Japan and we WILL sue U.A for negligence." Inko knows that the tone in Hisashi's voice always meant that he was serious and there was nothing that will make him change his mind. It was one of the many things that Inko had fallen in love with, even though whenever they'd argue about things it's so infuriating, luckily She and Hisashi don't argue very much and whenever they did Hisashi would give her chocolate or a nice gift whenever Hisashi would cool off. Hisashi was a dork like that.
Inko decided to take a shower but just as she was about to enter the bathtub she saw her reflection and her hair was floating around her head like she was underwater and she had realized that her quirk had activated without knowing which she hadn't done since she was in her single digits. Inko had to deactivate her quirk and did that. When she got out of the shower 15 minutes later Inko had walked out and went to the kitchen to get something to eat.
Now Inko Midoriya has always known that she was a stress eater of course but she never considered herself to be a GLUTTON.
This is what she had thought when she polished off five bowls of katsdon and three bowls of leftover ramen from the ramen place down the street. Despite this shameful overt act of gluttony Inko's stomach still rumbled with hunger and Inko spoke to herself "All right I'm cutting off my dinner for today."
Inko had to ease her anxiety and tried to watch her favorite drama show but after struggling to retain any type of focus on the show she turned it off. Inko started to rock back and forth in her seat, her son also rocks in his chair but for him it's a sign of excitement but for Inko it was a sign of anxiety. Suddenly Inko felt like she was dizzy, feverish and felt a headache. Inko had tried to get up and go to bed and with a great effort she made it to bed and changed into her pajamas.
Inko whenever she overworks her quirk she felt dizzy, feverish and had a headache so she was used to this of course but she didn't use her quirk at all with the exception of the quirk slip in the bathroom. Inko was embarrassed by her quirk slip honestly, Inko knew that quirk slips happened to everyone but she usually had a excellent control over her quirk. Inko wanted to cry, which was something she did frequently but, Inko felt ashamed by urge to cry right now. Technically speaking Inko has every single reason to cry, after all her son was the hospital and Bakugou's kidnapping was horrific and no one knows if Katsuki Bakugou was okay. As Inko was laying down in her bed she felt like her muscles were being pulled and stretched despite her just laying down and not moving around. Inko decided to call Hisashi even though he would be asleep right now. After setting up her laptop she started the video chat with her husband. Inko knew he was a heavy sleeper but to her surprise her husband responded to her call before the first ring.
Hisashi looked terrible. Not because of the gruesome nature of his injuries caused by a villain attack 5 to 6 years ago that mutilated the upper part of his face and the scar tissue that wrapped around his head that made him bald for the rest of his life. Even though most of his face was gone Inko could always sense Hisashi's moods and she could tell that he had been awake and she could see his assistant had been helping him file legal papers for obviously to sue U.A for criminal negligence and other charges. Hisashi brightened up when her webcam finally showed her image Hisashi spoke first "Hello my Green-Haired Queen, you look a little sick, are you doing ok?" Inko responded "Well I had a Quirk Slip and ate the entire fridge and had to stop myself from eating the pantry as well, also for some reason my muscles are sore as well." Hisashi looked curiously at her "Really?" Inko looked down and away from her husband "Yes it's so embarrassing" Hisashi the sweetheart spoke "I'm not mad I'm just slightly concerned about this, after all this sounds like it's serious." Inko waved her arms around in a panic "No it's not like that I'm just stressed out about well everything..." Hisashi cleared his throat and spoke up "Inko I'm going to be coming to Japan on the first flight which will be 2 hours from now which is why I'm awake right now and I should be there by 5PM tomorrow." Inko brightened up with this news then her heart sank because she knew that the only reason why he's coming was because of legal charges against U.A and to visit his son, whose battered and broken. Inko was shaken out of her thoughts when Hisashi spoke
"Inko I love you and Izuku and I wish that I could drop everything and be with the two of you forever and if you were to say the word to destroy a city I would in a heartbeat. Listen to me Inko if anyone were to even THINK about harming you and Izuku I would destroy them financially, emotionally and destroy their reputation making them a social outcast or worst..."
Inko always had known about her husband's brutal, vindictive streak toward people who try to harm the few people he cared about and Hisashi had tried to ruin Katsuki Bakugou's prospects for being a hero by pressing charges against his parents for Katsuki's bullying and for using his quirk against Izuku numerous times. Inko had to convince Hisashi to step down from the criminal charges by having The Bakugou Family pay for damages and Izuku's tuition into U.A even though they made enough money to pay the tuition fees. Hisashi always felt remorseful about when his temper overcame him around her and Izuku.
Inko was always able get Hisashi to see reason whenever his temper flares up. Hisashi was always able to get her to she reason whenever she was about to do something impulsive and reckless.
Of course the two of them have matured over the years and our flaws don't control us like they used to.
Izuku, Inko's and Hisashi pride and joy had inherited both good and bad personality traits
Izuku had her recklessness and impulsive behavior and Izuku had his father's stubborn attitude and his father's temper at times.
Inko had seen the best and worst of her son during the Sports Festival and the whole world saw Izuku Midoriya laid bare.
Inko was shook out of her thoughts again when Hisashi snapped his fingers and spoke "Sorry for breaking your train of thought but, you should go to bed soon I have to go to the airport right now and all see you tomorrow evening. Good Night Inko." "Good Night or morning over there Hisashi" Inko replied.
The video chat turned off and Inko put away the laptop and turned off the lamp and settled down and fell asleep as she closed her eyes...
