Summary
For Delta being a Big Daddy was like one long seemingly never ending dream where the only thing that mattered was Eleanor’s safety and happiness. Having his child kidnapped, being killed, and then getting revived ten years later with his free will restored was like an extraordinarily rude awakening from said dream. Rapture is now a city of nightmares, and Delta has to navigate this living nightmare with nothing but voices of people he doesn’t know to guide him forward. At first his only goal is to find Eleanor, and find some way to escape from the doomed city so that they can both see the sun. However, a single comment from one of his only allies gives him pause.
“There are others I must help before the city drowns.”
That one comment causes Delta to think. How many more people are trapped in this underwater nightmare? How many other innocent people just want to escape and see the sunshine again like him? He doesn’t know, but he does know one thing. If he finds anyone that can be saved he’ll do his best to help them, and if he’s lucky he might be able to help them see the sunshine again too…
Or basically Delta decides that he going to save as many people as he can so they can see the sun.
