Summary
The news came like a thief in the night. Unexpectedly, suddenly, and with the overlaying atmosphere of 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 hovering over them.
“Rengoku Kyojuro! Injured gravely at Mugen Train mission! The Master calls Rengoku’s wife to the Butterfly Estate immediately!”
That was her order. She would follow it.
And we follow her. Rengoku Daikaito, the wife of the legendary Flame Hashira as she travels to the Butterfly Mansion to see her dying husband and--hopefully--revive him and nurse him back to health. With two children at her back, one walking and the other barely opening his eyes, she travels to him.
With the undying resilience she possessed since the day she was born.
