Deku has a really rough day, being a hero you will get days like that and he knows that. But today was especially tough on him mentally. He just couldn’t wait to go home and just relax after a grueling day. Usually with days like these he’ll go home and eat and shower and flop on his bed and just lay there. He doesn’t talk to anyone on his way home or mutter to himself, he just wants to get home peacefully.
Once he’s standing right in front of his apartment door, he opens it and walks in, kicking off his shoes and throwing his jacket away aimlessly not caring where it lands. He’ll deal with it later. He goes to his room and takes his hero suit off and goes to the bathroom to take the quickest shower possible.
When he was done with his shower he gets out and dries himself with his fluffiest towel that his mom got him when he got the apartment. He walks to his room and puts on some comfy clothes, his “t- shirt” t-shirt and some shorts. He decides to orders delivery because he’s too tired to even try to make himself a proper meal. He immediate thoughts went to a certain blond who would yell at him for not taking care of himself properly and complain about his eating habits.
Deku smiles softly to himself at that thought as he walks to his couch, flopping down on the couch and gets the controller, turning on the TV to pass time until his food arrives. He jolts a bit when he hears someone knocking at his door, not realizing that he even fell asleep. He slowly gets up, stretching and yawning as he walks himself to the door and opens it, surprised to not see a delivery boy or his food at all. He was more surprised to his his childhood best friend at his door step.
“Kacchan what are you doing here?” Deku asks tiredly but curiously as he wonders why he was even there in the first place. Bakugou looks like he just got out of the shower, his hair was still wet and he looks comfortable in his black sweatpants and hoodie. He probably had enough time to get shower and get ready at the agency. “Got a problem that I’m here nerd?” Bakugou asks as he walks in past Deku and takes his shoes off. He disappears from dekus line of sight, not bothering to hear Deku’s response, even though he didn’t really have one. Deku sighs and shuts his door and turns to find where kacchan even went. Walking to his living to see if Bakugou was there but nope. Not there.
Deku just flops onto the couch again with a groan and closes his eyes not having the energy to ask more questions on why Bakugou was at his house and what he even wanted. Bakugou walks in to the living room from the hallway that leads to the bathroom and Deku’s room. His arms full of blankets and plushies that Deku tries to hide from anyone who enters his home. Deku has his eyes closed so he really couldn’t be embarrassed, he is basically knocked out at this point.
Bakugou huffs and throws the blankets on top of Deku’s body and puts all the hero plushies around him, but he puts the Dynamight plushie in dekus arms. Bakugou turns to the tv and goes to YouTube to find some rain sounds, knowing that Deku loved hearing those sounds to relax and one time the nerd told him that it even helped him sleep so naturally he puts one on, just to make sure the nerd stays asleep while he cleans up a bit and cooks because he knows Deku hasn’t eaten because the idiot probably ordered take out. Bakugou gets to cleaning a bit. It’s not that messy which he’s kind of proud of Deku for because that just means he is getting better. Bakugou even cleans Deku’s room. Vacuuming (which reveals just how tired Deku is because he didn’t wake up) and spraying some refreshing spray around so it smells good.
Bakugou then goes to the kitchen and start getting ingredients out to start cooking. The delivery boy got there a while ago, leaving the food outside and Bakugou brought it in but put it in the fridge. Deku starts to wake up but only because he smelled something really good. He knows that smell. He loves that smell. It’s katsudon! Before Deku could get up from where he slept, Bakugou is already right in front of him with a bowl of Katsudon and a glass of water. Bakugou looks at Deku and places the food down at the coffee table.
He waits for Deku to sit properly before placing the food down. “Eat all of it or I’ll kill you.” Bakugou warned staring straight into Deku’s eyes letting him know he means business. Deku nods and starts eating, closing his eyes and moans at the taste. Bakugou sat down next to him and puts a movie on while Deku finishes up. Once Deku was done with his meal and drinks his water, he goes to get up to wash his dish but Bakugou stops him before he could. He takes his plate and places it on the coffee table and grabs the blanket, throwing it over them both, to which Deku just moved in closer to Bakugou and cuddles into him with his dynamight plushie in his arm, not caring about being judged because he knows kacchan wouldn’t, not even jokingly because of the state he is in.
“Thanks for coming here and helping kacchan but you really didn’t have to.” Deku whispers gratefully as he places his head on Bakugou’s shoulders.
“Yeah yeah nerd I don’t do shit that I don’t want to now shut up and relax for once.” Bakugou said with no heat behind his words. He wraps his arm around Deku and moves him closer, if it was even possible and sighs as they continue to watch the movie. A couple of minutes pass into the movie and Deku ends up falling asleep again, with a smile on his face as he thinks that maybe today wasn’t so bad after all and he makes a promise to thank kacchan properly when he wakes up.
