Summary
It was easy for Zeb to promise that when his crew rescued him, he would make sure the ISB agent was treated fairly. Especially when compared to the kind of hospitality the Empire would offer a Lasat in the same situation. He meant it, too, though he knew the agent would never take him up on it, just as he would never take the agent up on the promise made to him in return.
When they both declined each others’ offers, he didn’t expect to be the one left alone in the snow.
