Summary
Seven years have passed since Willy Wonka ran away from home, declaring he would be the greatest chocolatier the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, the world is rarely kind to dreamers and Willy - broke, homeless, and as of a few hours ago sporting a black eye - isn't feeling too hot about his life choices.
Madeleine Berry is too practical to be called a dreamer and shouldn't have the time, patience, or money to take in strays. Working days as a trainee pastry chef and nights bartending to make ends meet, she has somehow found an alcove in her heart for Willy Wonka. It starts as trading chocolate truffles for free drinks but Madeleine soon finds herself swept up in a dream far bigger and brighter than anything she's imagined before.
