My precious Prince of Nonsense." The words are half-slurred and jagged, beyond fond, and Izuku sobs, even as he smiles.

"May I hug you?" It's not a question Izuku was expecting, but he was frankly barely coherent enough to expect anything much at all. But he trusts Todoroki well enough (and the sound of a hug, right now, of warmth and a heartbeat and breathing, so different to mere hours ago, sounds beyond wonderful-) and so he doesn't really have to think before he nods a little, messy but there all the same.

The fight at Kamino Ward does not go quite how it did in canon, leaving the world bereft of its hero, and Izuku without so, so much more.

All Might dies at Kamino and he and Midoriya have a much deeper relationship. Midoriya runs to hold him in his death and because of that, is publicly known as All Might's successor. Its really sad but in a hurt/comfort way and is mostly about Toshinori and Izuku's relationship.

i cried holy shittt like for a good 30 minutes i broke down reading this. And i MEAN full on snot and tears and hiccups. wow. you only find gems like these when you forage deep into the yagi tag and i am SO glad i did. oh my god
