   Summary

   Ba Sing Se was supposed to be a second chance for them. For Zuko, a new chance at a life away from the control of his father and the imminent threat of the Fire Nation, and for Sokka, a chance to stop this war once and for all. Neither of them realized that they would have a second chance for more as these two boys reunite within the city of high walls and unspoken expectations, and find their own salvation within each other.

   Zuko is running towards a brighter future while Sokka is fleeing the painful trauma of these past few months. With the former Prince's help, Sokka finally finds the strength and ability to face these horrible scars that the war has inflicted upon him and find healing.

   This is an alternate take on the Ba Sing Se arc in the NoNooseSokka universe, where Zuko and Sokka forge strong bonds and fast romance within the city they both hate, and find companionship and love in each other.
