Summary
During the events of the Department of Mysteries, Harry stumbles upon a strange piece of jewelry that grants him a wish.
Stuck in a time not his own with a war brewing, Harry decides that he wants nothing to do with it. Having had enough fighting to last him a lifetime, he vows to keep his head down and not attract attention to himself.
Things become complicated when, in an unexpected turn of events, Harry earns the interest of a certain meddling deputy headmaster, a dark lord and an animal loving wizard. -
