This is all he wants. He won’t give it up for something as foolish as wanting Sam this badly, wanting to unleash something he has no idea if he could ever cage back up. It isn’t worth it. None of it. All the things he doesn’t say and doesn’t ask for and doesn’t let himself believe. He can trade it all for any little bit of Sam he get his hands on, for as long as it lasts.
