Summary
The ball of panic in his chest unraveled a bit. A tendril lashed out at his lungs and Lan Zhan had to suck in a sharp breath. He didn’t mind the punishment. And he was certain Uncle was doing this behind Xichen’s back. But still, Uncle deserved respect. Which meant Lan Zhan had no choice. He raised his chin and swallowed down his rising fear. “I have nothing to atone for.”
Uncle turned away. “...Very well, Lan Wangji.”

A fic in which Lan Zhan is punished for showing Wei Ying the Lan Ancestral Hall, and they work through the aftermath together. Kinda sad, but a lot of happy/fluffy moments too.
