Summary
When Trafalgar D. Water Law went to help rescue Monkey D. Luffy during the Battle of Marineford he was prepared to help save straw hat’s life.
What he was unprepared for was the familiar pair of dark blue eyes that made eye contact with him. The same pair of eyes he had last seen nearly 8 years ago, before they had disappeared from his life without a trace. That was until he found several years later that they were traveling with the Whitebeard Pirates. Learned those beautiful eyes that always reminded him of their nights under the stars together, had shacked up with “Fire Fist” Ace, seeming to have forgotten about him.
First off, it wasn’t Junko’s choice to leave. How could she ever leave the one person in the world who understood her history? What was her choice however, was going to Marineford with the Whitebeard Pirates, to save the person who had held her heart the last few years. It was her choice, to protect his younger brother after he no longer could, and it was her choice, to get on that yellow submarine to escape.
Now it's her choice on how she wants to navigate this haunting world with the secrets and memories she holds. -

Irene paused, pursing her lips a bit, before nodding her head. “I see, crew members, no? You’re a part of the Heart Pirates now. That’s why you’re hanging around with Trafalgar.”
“Kind of…” Junko trailed off, seeming a bit hesitant to continue. She didn’t want to offend Law, but also didn’t want to lie. “I’m not an official member, but they have been taking care of me since Marineford happened. Since I lost my crew.” Junko gave a tiny shrug with one shoulder. “I would also be willing to answer your own questions.”
Law immediately pinched Junko’s arm gently, causing her to jump slightly, and send a glare at the man. A silent message being passed between the two, that Junko’s answers would be filtered.
Irene gave a gentle hum. “Well, no worries, luckily I have plenty to go around. My husband is on the other half of the island for business tonight, so he won’t be joining,” Irene’s hands went to her hips. “Although, you will get to meet someone else.”
It was the first time Irene had personally acknowledged to Junko that she has a husband. So Muichiro wasn’t just being a jackass when he made his snide comments. It didn’t even occur to Junko what Irene had meant with her last sentence, before she was repeating, “Meet someone else…”
Not even a moment later, the door to the inn swung open harshly with a loud bang as it hit the wall, causing everyone to turn and look at the sudden ruckus. A little girl with bright pink hair was bouncing over their way, her eyes dead set on Irene, a grin plastered widely across her face.
“Mommy! There’s a giant bear outside the inn! And I’m not even making it up! I swear, it’s right there! It’s wearing clothes too! Clothes! Bears aren’t supposed to wear clothes!”
The little girl had finally reached them, her gaze still on Irene, and Junko was staring at the small girl, a look of bewilderment showing, as she looked back and forth between the two.
