A camera shutter? Wheres it from?
Shinji looked around, he couldve sworn he heard a camera. He turned to his side, only to see a stupid otherworldly being that is kaworu nagisa, holding a polaroid camera
A sound similar to what a printer makes could be heard as the camera produces a polaroid picture. Kaworu swiftly took it, smiling as he observed the picture, before showing it to shinji.
"Nagisa, stop taking pictures of me" Shinji glared daggers at him. He had made the grand mistake of gifting kaworu a camera for his 16th birthday. This is the 60th time he had taken a picture of shinji. And yes, he counted.
"But shinji kunnnn, you look so good in these pictures! You should be a model!" Kaworu exclaimed, holding the picture up to his face, just enough for shinji to see it.
He snatched the photo from kaworu to get a better look.
The picture showed the profile of an unknowing Shinji Ikari with a serene look plastered on his face. The sun light from the window made him look ethereal, delicately making his features more prominent and making his cobalt blue eyes brighter. He blushed.
"Stop whining nagisa. If you take a picture of me again i WILL knock your teeth out!"
Kaworu pouts and let out a huff, turning to his side and crossing his arms.
God, hes so dramatic!
"You dont appreciate art! You dont appreciate the...um...the height of lilin culture!" He spat, no real malice laced to his words.
Shinji glared hard. So hard, he could pierce kaworu with his eyes alone.
Deciding he valued his front teeth, he dropped his arms and smiled at shinji nervously, explaining how he was just joking.
Shinji felt like he could see the insides of his head by how hard he was rolling his eyes.
"But seriously though, shinji kun. You could be a great model! I mean, you look so good and cute!" Kaworu took the picture from shinji's hands and looked at it once more.
Flustered, shinji looked away.
"Sh—shut up..just.. Just dont take pictures of me anymore! Youre really making me regret giving you that!"
"But youre so cute, shinji kun!"
He felt himself get redder by the second. Cant this guy just shut up? He would be lying if he said he wasnt enjoying the praises kaworu was giving him, but he would also be lying if he said he didnt want to punch him in the face either
"I mean, you have blue eyes and perfectly tan skin! Your face is so delicate looking, and-"
"I get it! J-just shut up! Ughh..."
Kaworu was amused. Shinji was really red. He was aware that it had been from the numerous compliments he gave the younger boy, so he grinned.
"But-"
"Nope! Do NOT say anything else!"
"Shinji-"
"No!"
"..."
"No!!"
"I didnt even say anythinggggg!" He whines again, pouting.
"Just no." Shinji knew he had heard him the first time, but he just had to make sure he was free from kaworu's annoying whines and praises.

"Oh my fucking- what did i say about taking pictures of me?"
Kaworu giggled
He giggled. Cutely.
"Shinji kun, youre cute when youre mad"
"stop calling me cute!"
"But its true!"
By this point, shinji was really irritated. He had no choice but to break this fucker's camera.
Shinji tried to snatch his camera, but kaworu dodged quickly. He laughed at shinji's attempts to retrieve his camera. So much so, that he didnt feel the camera being taken away by the younger boy. With a smirk on the brunette's face, he exited the bedroom, running, and Kaworu quickly followed suit. They were like that for a while; trying to get the goddamn camera from one another while sharing laughter.
After running around like a bunch of dorky idiots, they finally sat down on the floor, too tired to go back to the bedroom. Kaworu looked over to a tired Shinji. "That was fun" he said, smiling.
Trying so hard to catch his breath, shinji just hummed in response. Still smiling beautifully despite being so tired.

He, yet again, took a picture of shinji. Only this time, shinji let him.
Because he was really fucking tired. Also because kaworu looked cute while doing so.
