Hermes answered Odysseus all the while, “Well, a little party god told me someone unexpected tripped into Camp again. I was expecting another child of the big three, maybe Hades’, but nope! Here you are instead! Can't I come say hello to my sister's favorite pet liar?”
“That'd be news to her,” Odysseus scoffed. Percy wondered if this counted as having mommy issues. Maybe he should get Odysseus and Annabeth to meet up after all. Meanwhile, in repsonse to those words, the owl made a sad chirping noise, pulling at a piece of Odysseus's hair, which Percy thought was awfully bold of her to do after giving all of her children abandonment issues.
