The Vampire Lestat Announces Savage Garden Tour

May 19, 2025 | Article has been update to include Lestat de Lioncourt’s recent statement

Fans of The Vampire Lestat are going to be ‘having fun’ this year as the singer announced that he is finally going on tour!

The news follows the unexpected, monumental success of his first album, Wolfkiller, which sold over a million copies in its first week out and took the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for his single, “Long Face.”

The Savage Garden tour will play in stadiums across the United States through next February. We reached out to Lestat’s team for a comment:

“Lestat is thrilled to announce his upcoming Savage Garden tour, where you will be taken on a journey the likes of which you’ve never experienced before. Lestat is busy with preparations, but looks forward to seeing and hearing his fans on the road.”

After the announcement yesterday, Lestat de Lioncourt posted the dates and openers on his Instagram. “i’m excited to announce the tour for my debut album, wolfkiller. bring your long stakes, your ponchos, crucifixes and your moms xx,” The singer continued, “see you there, louis.”

We have reached out to Lestat’s team about his comments regarding who the mystery ‘Louis’ could be but have received no response.

Lestat smirks as his phone lights up with an incoming call, “Hello.”

“You know, if you wanted to invite me, you could’ve just texted,” Louis says wearily.

His smile deepens. A simple text wasn’t quite his style. He had called Louis out in his tour announcement to guarantee that he would see it. An unexpected side effect was that Lestat’s fans had gone wild immediately, all panicking, trying to figure out who it could be - if it was anyone at all.

He’d seen a theory from some of his fans who thought he was just very dedicated to cosplaying as the Lestat from Daniel’s book and that he must be referencing the interviewee. The entire thing made Lestat’s brain hurt.

“Ah, but I wanted to make sure you saw it,” Lestat coos. As if he did anything without trying to get Louis’ eyes on him.

“And a phone call wouldn’t have gotten my attention?”

Lestat wavers. He had hesitated reaching out to Louis first since their reunion. He didn’t want to lose Louis again by being too pushy, too forward, too… himself. He has considered laying out his anxieties to Louis, but he doesn’t want to be a burden. He’s spent too much time away from him already. He doesn’t want to split them apart again.

“I’ll be sure to remember for the future,” Lestat says. “Do you think you’ll be able to make it?”

“I can make it to the first show,” Louis replies, a hint of a smile in his voice.

“C’est parfait!” Lestat exclaims, “I will ensure that they set you up with only the finest accommodations as well as backstage access with all of the perks your heart could ever desire.”

“Oh yeah?” Louis says, his voice deepening, “What kind of perks?”

Lestat recognized that inflection in Louis’ voice. It was unfair of Louis to do to him while he’s halfway across the world. Lestat swallows, taking a beat to make sure his voice is even before responding, “Well, I guess you'll have to wait and see won’t you?”

“Don’t tease me,” Louis chuckles. “Anyway, what’s on the great Vampire Lestat’s docket today?” He asks, his voice returning to normal as he pokes fun at Lestat.

Lestat clears his throat. Maybe he was imagining the sultry note to Louis’ voice.

“The choreographer is coming in this week, so we’re going to be laying the groundwork on the first few numbers in the show,” Lestat says.

“That sounds fun.”

Lestat sighs, “Trust me, Louis, it is not fun. They have me doing pilates. Pilates! Something about my breathwork when I’m on stage - as if I’m some middle-aged mother and not an ancient vampire! C'est ridicule.”

“What kind of choreography do they have you doing to warrant that?”

Lestat waves his hands, “Stop trying to get insider information from me, Louis. You must be patient.”

“Oh, is that how you’re gonna to be?” Louis scoffs, no real malice in his voice.

Lestat crosses his arms, and pouts - even though he knows Louis can’t see it. “Yes. Just because you’re you doesn’t mean you can demand these things of me. You’re lucky I didn't make you pay for a ticket.”

Louis laughs, “Les, you know I can buy myself a ticket, right? I don’t need your charity.”

“Non, non, I’m only joking,” Lestat smiles, twirling his hair around his finger. “Any big plans tonight?”

“I’ve got people coming today to take away some of the the old furniture, then Daniel and I are going hunting,” Louis replies. A twinge of jealousy shoots through Lestat at Louis going hunting with Daniel. Daniel? The gremlin’s bastard fledg--

“Daniel?” Lestat blurts, his mouth moving quicker than his brain.

“Yeah… what about him?”

“Oh… nothing!” Lestat says, a little too loud. “It’s funny you bring him up, actually. He recently approached me with an idea to do a documentary about my life during the tour. He said it would help people to understand the full story if he got my perspective as well.”

There’s a pause and Louis is silent for long enough that Lestat thinks he’s dropped off the call. He looks at his phone, sees that they’re still connected and asks, “Louis? Are you there?”

“I didn’t know he was seriously considering this,” Louis says, his tone cold and detached.

“Do you think I should do it?”

Louis pauses again before letting out an awkward, forced laugh. “I think you’re a grown man that can decide if he wants to do it or not. You don’t need to ask me for permission.”

Lestat ponders for a moment, curious about the sudden change in Louis’ behavior. Did he say something wrong?

“So if I hypothetically took him up on it, you wouldn’t mind?”

“Not a lick.”

Interview with the Vampire Author Daniel Molloy Announces Upcoming Documentary With The Vampire Lestat

July 28, 2025 | Celebs on the Web: Exclusive Interview

Author of the controversial fictional memoir, Interview with the Vampire, sat down with Celebs on the Web to discuss his collaboration with the artist known as The Vampire Lestat on a documentary that will film during his new Savage Garden tour, beginning next week.

Celebs on the Web: How did your friendship with Lestat de Lioncourt begin?

Daniel Molloy: Well, first, I wouldn't call it a friendship, exactly. We’ve got a mutual friend - Louis de Pointe du Lac - the man I spoke with in Interview

CotW: Lioncourt claims to be the ‘Lestat’ that your book discusses. Are you going to be continuing with that story in the documentary?

Molloy: [sighs] Listen, for the 100th time, I’m not continuing with any ‘story.’ I’m going to be trailing the actual vampire Lestat’s upcoming tour while we film the documentary.

CotW: Sure. In the film, are you going to be giving a behind-the-scenes look at the Savage Garden tour or are you going to be interviewing Lestat de Lioncourt himself?

Molloy: We’re going to be doing a mix of both, leaning more toward focusing more on the man himself. I’ve been informed that he has a lot to say and I think readers of my book and his fans alike are interested to see what his side of the story is. I know I am. I’m also rather excited for people to see how the man really acts. None of the bulls--t he claims to be. Between you and me, the real Lestat is a mess. [laughs]

CotW: Is there anything else you want to say about this project?

Molloy: Yeah, we're going to be doing a lot of…

Lestat holds his phone in his hands, looking at the screen nervously. He hovers over Louis’ contact, unsure if he wants to reach out. Forgoing his building anxiety, he taps Louis’ name.

“Hey,” Louis answers after a ring.

“Hello,” Lestat says, his pulse heightened.

“Daniel told me you’ve officially signed on to do the documentary,” Louis states. Of course he did. Daniel had rolled his eyes when Lestat told him that he needed to tell Louis the news himself, telling him he was acting like a schoolgirl with a crush.

It’s safe to say that Daniel was not his favorite person.

“Yes I have,” Lestat says, reminding himself to send Daniel an angry text later. “What do you think?

“I meant what I said before, Lestat. You don’t need my permission to do this.” Louis replies, a smile in his voice.

“Oh, dear Louis, I’m afraid we’re past asking for permission,” Lestat banters, “Maybe I just want your opinion on the idea as a whole.”

Louis laughs, “I think it’ll be a great opportunity for you to talk some things through, to show your fans who the real Lestat is… not some caricature.”

“You don’t think it’s a bad idea? I thought you might’ve…” Lestat says, remembering how Louis’ mood had shifted when he brought it up previously.

“No, not at all,” Louis assures him. “I promise, I’m not mad. I was mad that Daniel hadn’t thought to tell me he was doing it.”

Lestat’s mind runs with that information. Was Louis mad that Daniel hadn’t told him because it was Lestat ? Because it was another interview that Louis didn’t want? Or was there something between the two that Lestat was not privy to?

“Are you two spending a lot of time together, then?” Lestat inquires.

“Yeah, he’s been spending some time here while he tries to track down Armand,” Louis says nonchalantly, as if it doesn’t break Lestat’s heart to hear Louis confirm his suspicions.

“I see,” Lestat says somberly.

Louis catches on to the turn in his mood and asks, “Where’d you go, Les?”

“Nowhere,” Lestat responds, wrapping his arms around himself. He clears his throat and changes the conversation. “Do you think you’ll still be able to make it to the first show?”

“Of course,” Louis says, his voice softening, “How else am I going to get all of that insider information I've been begging for?”

“Daniel will be there.”

“Okay… I thought as much, seeing as he’s going to be recording the whole thing,” Louis jokes.

Lestat tries to give a light laugh, but it comes out a strangled mess.

“You sure you’re alright?” Louis asks, concern bleeding into his voice.

“Positive,” Lestat replies. “I can’t wait to see you next week.”

“You too, mon cher.”

Lestat thinks that he managed an acceptable good-bye, but he isn’t too concerned about it. He’s more focused on Louis calling him mon cher. In their entire relationship, he can count the times Louis called him the pet name on one hand.

And now, a simple mon cher from Louis was enough to send him spiraling.

His phone buzzes in his hand, breaking him out of his thoughts. He looks down to see a text from Daniel.

Want to tell me why Louis just called me, demanding that I make sure you’re okay?

He groans and chucks his phone on the bed, stalking out into the streets to find somebody to warm his bed - food or not - he didn’t have a preference tonight.

Louis is excited for Lestat - really. When he had said he was going on tour, Louis had not thought that it would be a stadium tour, but that’s on Louis. He should’ve known that Lestat wouldn’t do anything halfway.

In the months since New Orleans, he and Lestat have been in touch frequently - on the phone, through texts, even letters while Lestat was figuring out how to use his phone - building a replica of their prior friendship. Through these conversations, Louis has learned which topics to avoid - Claudia, the trial, any notions of a romance blossoming between the two of them - in order to maintain the peace.

Louis had meant it when he told Lestat that he was companion enough for himself, but now… he finds that he misses him. It snuck up on him, he wasn’t expecting it. But now every conversation feels like they’re tiptoeing around each other, not wanting to set the other off. Louis misses the easy conversations they used to have when they were together -  even when Louis was still human. They’d been best friends. He’s not too proud to admit that he misses his best friend, his confidante, his companion.

Hopping out of the hired car, Louis is immediately accosted by an assistant that sweeps him away. They lead him further into the stadium through a flurry of people, cameras, and props. Finally, they direct him to a dressing room before hastily turning and all but running away. He raps on the door gently.

It swings open and he sees Lestat looking like he’d just walked out of one of Louis’ wet dreams - his curly blonde hair and smudged eye makeup that only accentuate his too-blue blue eyes. Louis rakes his eyes over Lestat’s form longingly.

Fuck. The rockstar look was doing everything for Louis. He has on a dark sheer shirt with a tie collar under a black velvet blazer with matching flared pants - both decorated with silver rhinestone stars. Every piece is tailored perfectly, highlighting his waist and broad shoulders. Louis’ mouth dries at the sight. Finally, he manages to meet Lestat’s smug eyes.

“Well hello Louis,” Lestat smiles, looking him up and down appreciatively before surveying the hallway. “Daniel’s not with you?”

“He’s busy helping to get everything set up onstage. Speaking of… shouldn’t you be doing the same?”

Falling dramatically onto the couch, Lestat sighs loudly. “Ne commence pas par moi, Louis. Isn’t that what I pay people an exorbitant amount of money for?”

“I suppose so. I forget how humble you are,” Louis laughs, before moving closer to sit next to Lestat on the cardboard thin couch. “How have you been?”

Lestat sits up, his eyes darting from Louis to tug at a thread on his pants. “Fine, if not a little busy with all of this... grandiosity,” He says, motioning around him.

Fine? Louis doesn’t buy that for a second. Even Daniel has said that he’s worried about him, which doesn’t make Louis feel confident that Lestat really and truly is fine. Daniel had called him a few nights ago in a panicked state.

Lestat had managed to evade his personal security team, manager, assistant and entire slew of crew, vanishing to God knows where. Hours later, Daniel found him passed out in an alleyway with multiple bodies surrounding him, all bloodied, all with alarming levels of drugs in their systems, which were then working their way through Lestat. Daniel had expressed his concern, stating that Lestat was a mess without Louis.

“Just fine? I’ve heard about some of your… recent behavior,” Louis prompts, putting a hand on Lestat’s knee.

Lestat looks at Louis’ hand on his knee and visibly swallows before speaking. “From Daniel, I presume?”

Louis sighs, wishing he could shake Lestat and say that changing the subject won’t make him forget why he started the conversation. “Yeah. We’re worried about you.”

"Right. Well, I don’t need you two playing house with me. I’m more than capable of taking care of myself,” Lestat scoffs. “So please, don’t waste your pillow talk discussing me.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Louis, don’t. I already know about the two of you. There’s no need to play coy.”

Louis’ head whirs at Lestat’s words. Oh

“Is that what this is about?” Louis asks, his anger rising. “You thinkin’ that Daniel and I are together? Really?”

Lestat tosses his hair over his shoulder, a cold, detached look in his eyes. “You can fuck whomever you wish, Louis. It doesn’t matter to me.”

Unbelievable. 100 years removed and they’re still having the same conversation. Even if Louis was with Daniel - and he’s not - it shouldn’t matter to Lestat. Louis still wanted to cultivate a better relationship between the two of them. Why would Daniel’s presence in Louis’ life play any role in that?

“I can’t believe you,” Louis shakes his head, standing up to look at Lestat. “You’re fucking jealous? You don’t have the right to be jealous. You and I are not together.”

Lestat narrows his eyes, “A point you’ve made resoundingly clear.”

“Have I?” Louis retorts, “I don't think you'd be acting like this if I had made it so clear.”

Lestat stands abruptly, moving in front of Louis with a look of disbelief in his eyes. “I can’t do this with you right now. I need to prepare for my sh—”

“You’ve got 53 minutes until you go on,” Louis counters, glancing at his watch. “You can spare a few minutes to fucking talk to me.”

Lestat levels a nervous look at Louis before reluctantly sitting back down, his lips pressed tightly together. “About what? You and him? No, thank you.”

Louis rolls his eyes. He was always good at deflecting, always good at putting the problem back on Louis to make himself feel less guilty. It’s comforting to know that some things don’t change, even a century later.

“I’m not fucking Daniel,” Louis huffs.

“Well, congratulations. I wouldn’t give a damn if you were,” Lestat crosses his arms across his chest. His eyes dart from Louis to the door, back and forth, back and forth.

“Sure, Lestat. I totally believe that,” Louis stalks closer to Lestat, drawing his eyes up to meet his own. “I definitely believe that you wouldn’t care if Daniel was the one tucking me into coffin, pressing himself against me, whispering filthy things in my ear…” Lestat’s breathing accelerates as Louis continues, “... touching me anywhere he wants while I beg and moan for him? You really wouldn’t care?” He’s standing between Lestat’s knees, looking down at his upturned face and his eyes, now dilated enough to resemble two inky pools of black.

Lestat licks his lips, his eyes fixed on Louis’. “I wouldn’t.”

At that, Louis moves even closer, climbing onto Lestat’s lap with a knee tightly nestled on either side of his thighs. He can feel Lestat’s heartbeat accelerate, matching the pace of Louis’ own. Lestat’s shaking hands make their way up Louis’ thighs to land on his waist. He presses his own hands against Lestat’s chest, bringing his mouth beside Lestat’s ear. From his position, he can feel Lestat’s hot, heavy breath on his neck and it goes straight to his dick, only spurring him on further.

“Go on, Les. Tell me you wouldn’t care if I sat on his lap like this, all wanton and ready? If I took him in my mouth, covered him with my spit and let his cum shoot down my throat, making sure to not waste a single drop?”

As Louis goads him on, Lestat’s hands press firmer into him, his nails digging into his torso. Louis palms Lestat’s hardened dick over his pants, moving back to look at him again and see his face screwed up in pleasure.

Lestat moans, an unintelligible string of words escaping from his mouth as he rears his head back. “Use your words,” Louis purrs, pressing his palm in harder.

“I wouldn’t care,” Lestat strains. Fine, Louis can keep this up as long as he has to.

He retracts his hand from Lestat’s crotch, settling his hands on Lestat’s shoulders as he grinds his ass into his lap. “Remember how much you used to love this? When I would sit on your lap and bounce on your cock for hours. I wonder if you still wouldn’t care if it was Daniel’s lap I perched myself on, indecent and—”

“Fuck. I need you, amour,” Lestat breathes, his eyes locked on Louis’.

“Oh baby, why didn’t you say something before?” Louis says, his voice sickly sweet.

Lunging forward, he closes the distance between them in an instant. Their mouths crash into each other, a sharp clash of teeth and fangs. Louis scrapes his nails down Lestat’s chest before bringing them back to his shoulders, keeping himself steady as Lestat’s hands frantically trail Louis’ torso, tearing at his shirt.

Louis breaks away for a moment before bringing himself to the crook of Lestat’s neck. He extends his fangs, brushing them lightly against the thrum of Lestat’s pulse, a silent question extended.

“Merde Louis, s'il te plaît, s'il te plaît,” Lestat pleads, shivering at the contact.

Louis sinks his fangs in gradually, taking his time and relishing the taste. He takes deep pulls from Lestat, loving every drop and every curse that passes Lestat’s lips. When he pushes away, Lestat lets out a hearty groan that rumbles in his chest.

“Keep that there,” Louis says, pointing to the fang marks in Lestat’s neck, “It’ll add to your vampire aesthetic, fans will eat it up.”

Lestat gives a languid nod, not taking in anything Louis is saying. “I need you in my mouth, chéri. Need you like I —”

“Shut up and kneel,” Louis interrupts, pushing himself off of Lestat’s lap. Lestat scrambles from the couch to his knees, rushing to unbutton Louis pants. Louis slows his movements. “Take your time, baby. I’m not going anywhere.”

Lestat gives a smile before turning his attention back to Louis’ pants, shucking them off. He lets out a low whistle as he notices the black lacy lingerie underneath that Louis had worn in anticipation of this precise moment.

“These for me?” Lestat groans reverently, running his hands softly along the seams.

Louis gasps at the contact. “Yes, baby. You and you alone.”

Lestat moans, taking Louis’ cock out of its restraint, licking a wet stripe up to the head, taking the tip past his lips and wrapping his fingers around him. Louis coils his fingers into Lestat’s hair, urging him on. Lestat takes his cock fully into his mouth, his eyes sliding shut.

“Shit, I missed you,” Louis strains.

Part of his brain screams at him that they shouldn’t be here, shouldn’t be acting like they’re together when there are so many unanswered questions and uncomfortable conversations to be had.

Another part of his brain says that it’s too late for the two of them to break apart and admit that this was a mistake, with Lestat’s head bobbing on his dick, his hands wrapped in Lestat’s hair - it’s too late.

Lestat’s half-lidded eyes meet Louis’ as he takes him in his mouth completely, swallowing around his cock. This is exactly where he needs to be and he hates himself for thinking it could be anywhere else. Lestat’s nose brushes Louis’ stomach and he involuntarily bucks his hips up at the contact, now fully fucking into Lestat’s mouth.

“Baby, I’m close,” Louis warns. Lestat nods before somehow taking him even deeper, tears escaping from his eyes as he pushes Louis closer to the edge.

Louis comes with a shout, his fingers pulling hard from where they’re tangled Lestat’s hair as Lestat sucks every drop out of him. As he finishes, Lestat pulls off his cock with a pop, letting the last few beads fall on his face, ruining his makeup. Louis moans at the debauched sight - Lestat on his knees, his hair a disheveled mess, eyes blown wide with red tear tracks streaming down his face and Louis’ cum painting his face.

Lestat gets up, moving away from Louis to wipe at his face. “It’s a real pity that I have to take this off,” Lestat smiles, “I’d keep it but I think my manager would kill me.”

Louis manages to pull himself upright, buttoning his pants up and walking over to Lestat. He wraps his arms around his shoulders, pressing a fervent kiss to his lips.

“Fuck ‘em,” He says, nuzzling into his neck. Lestat throws the wipe across the room, drawing Louis in his arms fully, kissing down his neck and chest.

A deafening knock sounds from the door.

“Hey!” Daniel yells, still knocking. “If you two are done in there, Lestat is needed for a sound check in five.”

Louis laughs, “He’s on his way.”

“Always so quick to get rid of me.”

“Never,” Louis replies, dragging another kiss out of Lestat before he turns to reapply his makeup hurriedly.

As they walk out of the dressing room, hand in hand, Louis ignores a pointed look from Daniel.

“You two are incomprehensible,” He huffs.

Louis chuckles again, feeling lighter than he had in decades. They still needed to have an actual discussion about Lestat’s recent behavior, about their relationship, about a million other things, but this was enough for now.

Before he hits the stage, Lestat takes Louis’ face in his hands and presses their foreheads together. “Thank you for being here, mon cher.”

Louis grins widely, “You’re going to kill it.”

Lestat’s gaze rakes over Louis’ face, bringing him closer to kiss him again. “See you after the show?”

“Of course, baby,” Louis replies, his heart beating wildly. It was amazing how quickly they could lose themselves in each other again, Louis thinks. Was it unhealthy? Definitely. Did he give a shit? Definitely not.

Someone calls for Lestat to get into position, signaling the start of the show. As Lestat runs out to the stage, Louis moves to look into the audience that has each seat filled with people screaming and chanting Lestat’s name, over and over. The screams reach a crescendo as a spotlight illuminates Lestat, making him look like a divine being begging to be worshipped.

Savage Garden Tour Review: “A jaw-dropping, once in a lifetime experience that everyone needs to drop everything to see”

August 8, 2025 | Music > Rock Music

When Lestat de Lioncourt, known as The Vampire Lestat released his first studio album, Wolfkiller, he was an artist known to none. His record-breaking debut sold over a million copies in its first week (a feat only accomplished by 26 albums) and has only been followed by more and more success.

Success on this level, this rapidly, to an artist that did not have an established fan base, is as unexpected as it is unprecedented. However, his meteoric rise to fame is well-deserved if his Savage Garden tour is anything to go by.

Lestat takes his fans - aptly nicknamed ‘Bloodsuckers’ by the singer - on an odyssey full of dramatic, impressive choreography, stunning visuals, 18 (!) costume changes, and music that will thrum in your veins for years afterwards.

In his first show, between the unparalleled production and moments of jaw-dropping feats, Lestat made sure to take moments to address the audience, covering his bases: gratitude to his fans (“Je vous aime tous [I love you all]. You’re the reason we’re here tonight”), risqué crowd-pleaser lines ("make sure to think of me when you’re touching yourself tonight”), a nod to his ‘vampire’ origins (“this bite on my neck is real… just like the bite on yours will be after the show”), as well as a nod to his critics ("If you don’t like this next song, I worry about your sanity”).

The show included the entirety of his Wolfkiller album, as well as a few covers, showcasing his tremendous versatility and range as an artist. After ‘Red Velvet Frock,’ a sensual, gripping song about a tragic love affair, Lestat covered St. Vincent’s ‘Young Lover’ from her album MASSEDUCTION. Other covers included ‘She’s My Man’ by Scissor Sisters, ‘This Hell’ by Rina Sawayama, and a mashup of ‘Vampire’ by Olivia Rodrigo and ‘My Kink is Karma’ by Chappell Roan.

With a few of his original songs, he gave fans an inside look into the writing and production process. Before one of the most moving, tear-jerking songs on Wolfkiller, ‘Lullaby,’ he shocked fans with a personal revelation:

“This upcoming song, ‘Lullaby,’ is one that I hesitated putting on the album because of how emotionally affected I became during production. While writing and singing, I was a total wreck and would just break down, completely unable to continue. I bring these emotions up because I’ve seen many theories about what this song is about and I want to come out to clarify where this song comes from in my heart.

‘Lullaby’ is a song written for my daughter who is… (he starts crying) who is no longer with us. I wrote it to cope with my grief of losing her, of losing such a special, unforeseen joy in my life. She was a beautiful being that went through too much at such a young age, burdened with a father that didn’t know how to be a father. (He looks to the side-stage). I hope she knew how much I loved and cherished her, even if it never came out right. Wherever you are, ma petit [my little one], I hope you hear me now.”

It’s safe to say that there wasn’t a dry eye in the arena. What followed was a performance that many will never forget, with fans online sending their support and love to the singer.

Later in the show, ahead of one of his ballads, Lestat made sure to shout out someone special - someone unknown to fans and the media as a whole:

“I wrote this next song, ‘Heaven’s Light,’ after I had been living in an all-encompassing darkness, when everything seemed to be bleak and wretched. What helped to bring me out of this darkness was my sun, my beloved, my everything, my Louis. He brought the light back into my life during a time when it didn’t seem possible, a time when I thought I didn’t deserve it. (He addresses someone to the side of the stage). Celui-ci est pour toi, mon amour [This one’s for you, my love].”

Lestat closed the show with ‘Long Face,’ his breakout single that got the entire crowd of over 70,000 fans to their feet. Dressed in a skimpy, sheer Gucci look and six-inch heels, joining in with his troupe of backup dancers, you could feel his passion in putting on a fabulous performance for his fans, ensuring they have the time of their lives. We're all excited to see what he does next.

“You really wrote that song for me?” Louis breathes, his head thrown back as Lestat sits on his lap and sucks into his neck. Lestat had finished the show, sprinted off stage, still covered in a thin sheen of sweat, still in his finale gown, and immediately dragged Louis back to his dressing room.

Lestat pulls back to give Louis a look of disbelief, “I wrote most of my songs for you, chéri. Tell me - did you think I was moaning your name in the backbeat just for fun?”

“I thought I was imagining that.”

“No imagination necessary, mon amour,” Lestat reassures him before diving back in to kiss his neck.

Louis nudges his chin up to bring their lips together, kissing Lestat like he wished he could have the entire concert. Watching him on stage was intoxicating. He commanded the entire crowd with every movement, every note or moan that fell from his lips, and his entire being. It was unlike anything Louis had ever seen before.

“Could I get a replay of said moans?” Louis asks, his hands moving toward Lestat’s crotch.

Lestat nods hungrily, “You don’t even need to ask. I’ve been painfully hard all night.”

Louis tries to move some of Lestat’s gown out of the way, but can’t find a way in. “How big is this fucking dress?”

“Too big. Here, let me.” He says, gathering the material around his hands and shucking the dress off over his head leaving him in his thigh-high stockings, gold-studded panties, heels and star-shaped pasties taped over his nipples.

Louis greedily drinks in the sight, “Fuck. You look amazing.”

“You like it?”

“Mm... little more than like,” Louis says, bringing his mouth to suck on Lestat’s chest.

Lestat clasps his hands around Louis’ neck, eliminating any space between them. “Which look did you like the best?”

“The mini skirt,” Louis answers immediately. “Had me thinkin’ ‘bout how badly I need to fuck you in it.”

Lestat moans, reeling his head back. “I’ll keep that in mind. For now... I need you..." He strains, "you need to take me right now.”

Louis groans, hurriedly tearing Lestat’s panties away and wrapping his hand around Lestat, brushing his thumb over the head of his cock, gathering the slick that’s built up, and giving it a slight tug. Lestat roars back at the contact, his hands resting on Louis’ knees as he leans back.

As his hand works around Lestat’s dick, he brings himself back to Lestat’s chest and tears off one of his pasties with his teeth, biting onto his nipple, drawing out a sharp gasp from Lestat.

“Louis, Louis, Louis,” Lestat whines, tipping his head forward and looping his arms around the back of Louis’ neck, drawing him even closer as Louis pumps his cock roughly.

“You gonna be good and come for me, baby?” Louis breathes. He pulls away from Lestat’s chest, meeting the other man’s mouth frantically.

“You know I - ah!” Lestat sighs into Louis’ mouth, “Merde, don’t stop.” Louis speeds his hand up, eliciting another round of moans and ‘Louis’’ from Lestat’s lips.

“I’m close, cher,” Lestat croaks and Louis quickly dips him so Lestat’s laid flat, half on Louis’ lap and half on the coffee table. Lestat takes his cue and bridges his hips up to line his cock up with Louis' mouth. Louis leans forward, placing his hands on Lestat’s ass as he eagerly takes him into his mouth, whimpering at the feeling of Lestat hitting the back of his throat.

“Louis,” Lestat cries, his hands running wildly through his own hair, “Louis, I’m going to come.”

Louis nods, taking him deeper as Lestat comes with a sinful moan, hips shaking as Louis swallows, making sure to not waste a single drop. He swirls his tongue around Lestat’s cock gently, evoking a string of curses from Lestat as he does.

He keeps Lestat propped up, lapping at the head of his cock for what feels like hours until Lestat forces himself upright, his dick falling out of Louis’ mouth. He pulls Louis’ lips to his own once more before dramatically falling onto the couch beside him, lost in a state of ecstasy.

“Jesus Christ,” Lestat breathes after a few moments.

“Thought about that the entire show,” Louis admits, “you talked so much at the end I could’ve dragged you off the stage myself.”

Lestat gives him a look of disbelief, “I was thanking my fans!”

“I wasn’t listening,” Louis smirks, pulling Lestat to bring his head to rest in Louis’ lap. He cards his fingers through Lestat’s hair, as Lestat strums his hands on his stomach.

“Well… you’ve kept me waiting long enough, but I’m a man of little patience.” Lestat says after a few minutes, “What was your favorite part of the night? I need to know.”

Louis laughs, “I don’t think I should boost your ego any higher. Any more praise and I’ll never be able to bring you back down to Earth.”

Lestat turns, propping his chin on his hands, a smile breaking out across his face. “Ever the comedian. Indulge me, mon cher.”

Louis pauses, considering the entire night. The choreography was mind-blowing and he appreciated it more knowing how hard Lestat had worked to nail it down ahead of the tour. He’d also loved the costume changes, with each one taking his breath away. Especially the mini skirt - he needed Lestat to wear one every single day.

The most surprising point, however, came when Lestat had revealed the story behind ‘Lullaby’ - his ode to Claudia. He had laid himself bare on the stage, in front of tens of thousands of fans and in front of Louis, in a way he never had before. It was a level of vulnerability that Louis hadn’t seen from Lestat since the night they’d shared in New Orleans.

He swallows, “‘Lullaby.’”

Lestat looks away from Louis, tears quickly forming in his eyes. He remains silent for a moment, looking up to the ceiling. He breaks out into a wet laugh, “She would’ve hated this.”

“Les…”

“No, no, I don’t mean it in a negative way. She wouldn’t have liked the music, the choreography, the set… the whole thing…” He motions around the room, “And I wouldn’t blame her. It is all a little over-the-top, non?”

Louis laughs, “She would’ve loved your costumes, though. Always drifted to the finer things, that one."

“As any daughter of mine should,” Lestat says somberly.

Suddenly, he jolts up and claps his hands loudly. “Daniel requests my presence for the documentary. Would you like to join?”

He blinks up at Lestat, his face devoid of any emotion as he holds his hand out to Louis. He lets Lestat pull him up while his head spins at the sudden change in mood. For once, he was prepared to talk about their relationship with Claudia and all of the uncomfortable feelings that may arise. For now, he lets Lestat think he got away with avoiding the subject.

“I think you should put some clothes on first, babe,” Louis reminds him, pointing to his chest.

“Ah, and who’s fault is that?” Lestat wonders as he grabs another ostentatious outfit and throws it on.

“No mini skirt?” Louis jokes, his eyes pleading.

Lestat barks out a laugh, “Louis! Get your mind out of the gutter.”

A Deep-Dive Into Our Favorite The Vampire Lestat’s Wolfkiller Lyrics

August 9, 2025 | Entertainment > Music > Rock Music

If you were one of the lucky few that managed to snatch a ticket to attend night one of The Vampire Lestat’s sold out Savage Garden tour - or if you caught a grainy TikTok live - you may have heard the singer explain some songs from his album, Wolfkiller. Here, we’ll take a closer look at a few tracks and who they might be about.

Sainted Lover

Fan favorite track “Sainted Lover” depicts Lestat making a plea to a potential paramour. Sensual lyrics are supported by a chest-rumbling rock production with a blend of synthesizer, guitar and bass that mesh perfectly with Lestat’s breathy, seductive tone. “Sainted Lover” is considered to be one of the most sexually charged songs on Wolfkiller with Lioncourt displaying a sultry, confident vibe with his vocals supported by guttural moaning and heavy panting in the background.

He addresses the inevitability of the coupling of him and his lover with “your soul intertwined into mine / dancing on the edge of temptation / you’re taking over my mind,” as well as, “I’m losing myself to you / I know you want this too.”

The song builds to a crescendo with Lioncourt making his petition to his beau more explicit, “Fuck me tonight and I’m yours forever / Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me / it’s a worthy endeavor.” With the 1-minute outro being filled with heavy moaning and heaving breaths, we can only assume that Lioncourt’s begging paid off.

The Marquise

In case you weren’t an expert on European titles of nobility (how dare you!), a Marquise is a woman married to a Marquis - a nobleman that ranks above a count and below a duke. Lioncourt has stated that ‘The Marquise’ was written about his mother, who holds the rank.

In an interview with Genius, Lioncourt talked about his unique relationship with his mother:

“She was never a stereotypical ‘mother’ and was rather a distant, detached presence. This is due to being forced into an unwanted marriage with a violent man and the constraints placed upon her in her role as a Marquise. She longed for adventure and left to navigate the globe as soon as she could. I was fortunate enough to accompany her in some of her travels, helping us grow closer together.”

Backed by multiple stringed instruments and Lioncourt’s buttery-smooth vocals, the lyrics describe a complex, devoted relationship. From Lioncourt’s adolescence: “Indifferent / Impatient / I’ve lost you again behind a thousand closed doors.” To his adulthood: “Nothing can destroy what you are / Every wound will heal / We write our own fairy-tales now.”

Lullaby

“Lullaby” is an absolutely gut-punch of an album closer. Lioncourt broke the internet (and our hearts!) when he revealed that “Lullaby” is actually a tribute to his late daughter. Before performing it live he explained, “I wrote [Lullaby] to cope with my grief of losing her, of losing such a special, unforeseen joy in my life.” He continued tearfully to say that he hopes his daughter knew how much he cherished her, while sending his love out to her.

It is a contemplative, slow song backed only by Lestat’s voice and him playing piano, his voice soft and light as he sings to his daughter.

Looking into the lyrics, they expose Lestat’s grief and his fear of forgetting her, “your laugh / your smile / the feeling of your hand in mine / slipping from my mind / lost to the passage of time.” It’s a heartbreaking line, made even more somber accented by Lestat’s gentle, earnest crooning.

To close out the song - and the album - he sings, “Lay your head down my love / don’t be afraid / I will keep the monsters away.” Lestat vows to his daughter that she can rest, unafraid, because he will be there to protect her from harm.

The Vampire Lestat is bringing his Savage Garden tour to stadiums across the United States until next February. More information is available at www.thevamplestat.com.

Once they’re downstairs, Louis watches from across the room as Lestat gets primped for filming, their heated eyes locked on each other. As he stares, fingers snap in front of his face. “Earth to Louis,” Daniel barks.

“Yes?”

“Stop making goo-goo eyes at your boyfriend. You guys are grossing me out.”

Louis rolls his eyes, “He’s not my boyfriend.”

Daniel’s face lights up. “Oh? Husbands again? Or wait… are you friends with benefits? Just benefits? What is it?”

“We’re…” Louis falters, “we’re figuring it out.”

“Sounds healthy,” Daniel laughs. “Always a good idea to fuck your ex-husband then decide to have the ‘what are we’ conversation. I don’t see how that could go wrong at all.”

Louis cuts a stinging glare at Daniel. “Thank you for that.”

“Always happy to help,” Daniel says, mirth swimming in his eyes. “I’ve got a fantastic couples counselor when you need it.”

Louis doesn’t get a reply in before Daniel is walking away to get mic'd up, a wide smirk on his face. While they get mics and cameras put into position, an assistant offers Louis a seat behind the camera, allowing him to watch the first session.

Daniel clears his throat and begins, “I’m here with the vampire known as Lestat de Lioncourt, fresh off the stage from the first night on his Savage Garden tour where he played a sold-out show for over 65,000 fans—”

“70,240 to be exact,” Lestat interrupts, a self-satisfied smirk on his face.

“Anyone ever complimented you on your humility?” Daniel deadpans.

“Oh, always. I pride myself on being humble.”

“Clearly.” Daniel shakes his head and continues to address Lestat, “Back to the subject at hand though, let’s talk about your show tonight.”

“You’re the one that got us off topic,” Lestat mutters.

“Hush,” Daniel says, referencing his notes, “To start, let’s talk about how you prepped for the tour.”

“Let’s.”

Louis attended the first few stops on the Savage Garden tour before having to make up an excuse to escape back to Dubai. He had felt that they were trying to restart their relationship at an uncomfortable rate, falling back into each other too quickly. He realized it after the fourth stop when a roadie called him Lestat’s boyfriend and he hadn’t thought to correct her until Daniel did it for him.

So, once again, instead of talking about their relationship, Louis fled and hasn’t seen Lestat in two months.

“You should come to the Philadelphia show,” Lestat blurts out on FaceTime from his hotel room after his most recent performance in Nashville. “My birthday is the day after, in case you forgot.”

“Don’t worry, I didn’t forget your birthday,” Louis says. He didn’t - he’d actually been talking with Daniel for weeks about surprising Lestat by flying out for the Philly show and staying through his birthday. Maybe staying for a few stops after too if they were in a good place. “And I would, but I have a meeting with a potential client.”

“I miss you, chéri,” Lestat pouts.

“I miss you too, Les,” Louis says before changing the subject. “How is the documentary going?”

Lestat throws his head back, letting out an exaggerated whine. “Daniel is impossible. He keeps accusing me of lying! Je le déteste, I don’t know how you can stand to be around him.”

Louis lets out a small chuckle. He’d heard similar reports from Daniel: ‘This is the guy everyone’s obsessed with?’ He’s a goddamned clown dressed up as an aristocrat’ and Louis’ personal favorite - ‘How good is his stroke game to warrant the obsession?’

“It can take a little bit to warm up to him, I’ll admit,” Louis chuckles, an echo of his earlier words to Daniel. “Y’all talkin’ about anything exciting?”

“I take offense to that. My entire existence is exciting,” Lestat huffs.

“Oh, my sincerest apologies. What exciting topic are y’all discussing now?”

Lestat turns from the camera, his eyes unfocused, and takes a deep breath. “We’re currently discussing me being in Paris… the second time.”

Louis’ pulse pounds in his ears as memories flash through his mind. A yellow dress, a striped suit, a sham trial. He squeezes his eyes shut. Not now. “And?”

Still staring at anything that isn’t Louis, Lestat asks, “Do you have any regrets?”

“About what?”

“Claudia,” Lestat says, looking back to Louis with his eyes brimming with tears.

Louis thinks for a moment. “I have so many regrets - enough that if I think about them long enough I feel like they could swallow me whole. Not a day goes by where I’m not cursing myself about something I could’ve changed or could’ve done to make her days easier.”

Lestat blinks, his tears falling down his cheeks, “Daniel asked me if I regretted turning her,” He pauses, thinking. “I blew up at him, telling him that it was a cruel question to ask as someone with daughters of his own. Would he say that he regrets having his daughters?”

“Do you regret it?”

Another pause. “I don’t. I regret everything else. How I talked to her, how she was never treated like her own person and more like an inconvenience - at best. I could go on.”

“I get it, I feel the same way.”

“Was she happy in Paris?” Lestat asks timidly.

“She was her happiest self there,” Louis replies, a small smile gracing his face as he remembers her love of the little things in Paris, her finding herself, finding Madeleine. “I can send you some pictures of her from that time.”

“You have pictures of her?” Lestat asks, sitting up on the bed.

“I wasn’t sure if you would want to see them,” Louis admits. “Any time I’ve brought her up you shut down. Tonight’s the first time I’ve heard you say her name since… New Orleans.”

Realization dawns on Lestat’s face, before morphing into a look of guilt. He swallows, “I just… I need to talk it through with someone that didn’t know her, before we talk about it. It sounds silly, but I need to get everything out so that I know how I actually feel and I can articulate it correctly.” Lestat confesses, “I’m scared I’m going to say the wrong thing and I’ll lose you again. And I can’t lose you, Louis. I can’t be without both of you.”

“I understand. I do wish you would’ve told me that you were feeling like this earlier,” Louis starts, “because then I could’ve reassured you that this time is different. We’ve grown from who we used to be. We’ll do better this time, we have to try. I want to try.”

“You do?” Lestat’s voice breaks.

“I do,” Louis replies, “Coming back to Dubai helped me realize how badly I want us to work. I love hearing about the stupid shit you’re saying to Daniel just to get a rise out of him. I’m camped out on shitty TikTok lives for hours to hear your voice and see how your entire body lights up when you sing about her. I’m reading every single review of your shows, to let myself imagine that I was there. And that we were us. I want to be with you Lestat - fully committed. Is that something you want?”

Lestat pauses for a moment that seems to stretch out to infinity in Louis’ mind. He watches as Lestat breaks out into a large smile.

“I had no idea you were so enamored with me, Louis.” Lestat says finally and Louis throws his head back in frustration. “I won’t answer such an important question over the phone, mon amour. Come see me and maybe you’ll get your answer.”

“You’re a shit-head, you know that?” Louis says fondly.

“Louis! Stop flirting with me!” Lestat says with mock outrage, before they both break out in huge peals of laughter.

The Vampire Lestat Changes “Long Face” Lyrics in Nod to Mysterious Beau

November 1, 2025 | Celebrities > Musicians > The Vampire Lestat

Lestat de Lioncourt, the singer known as The Vampire Lestat, has hinted at his romance with an unknown paramour during his Savage Garden concert in Nashville. The concert was his final performance in the city before he performs two sold-out shows, 11/6 and 11/8, in Philadelphia, PA.

According to a TikTok posted from the show, Lioncourt sang, “Here come the gays, here comes my dear,” changing the phrase originally written as “the fear” to “my dear.”

Knowledge of Lioncourt’s partner is unknown, but he has referenced someone named ‘Louis’ several times in his concerts, leading fans on a wild goose chase to find the man.

claire 💘 tvl @clairebear21: lestat gave louis ANOTHER shoutout 🥹 who is this man!! i would be screaming from the rooftops if it were me

erin! 👯 @erindoesstufff: does anyone else think that maybe there isn’t actually a louis and lestat is just *really* committed to the bit?

andy (he/she/they) @andysmints: THAT’S WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING! we already know that he loves being extra! it wouldn’t be surprising if this is all fake

bri (armand was right!) @skiwithbri: “...my Louis, who turns all my dark days bright just through his smile…” i am obsessed with them and i don’t even know who tf louis is

emma🌛 @emmasp_102: k but lestat is looking a little too good lately. can louis fight?

Daniel Molloy @RealDanielMolloy: @thevamplestat

     ↳ lestat @thevamplestat: he can

Earlier in the night, as one of Lioncourt’s covers he played “Baby, I’m Yours” by Barbara Lewis. This song describes a complete devotion from the singer to their lover with the lyrics: “Baby, I’m yours and I’ll be yours until two and two is three / In other words, until eternity.”

Lioncourt has been uncharacteristically reserved about his potential relationship and when we reached out to his team, they offered no comment.

“Where is he?” Louis asks Daniel as they’re rushing around backstage. His flight had come in much later than expected and they had to speed to the venue, leaving Louis only a few minutes before the show starts.

“Should be in sound check,” Daniel says, guiding him to a crowd of people waiting just off stage. He scans the group and recognizes them as Lestat’s band, as well as some roadies. Lestat’s nowhere to be seen.

“Where?”

“Right here,” Lestat whispers. He jumps at the feeling of Lestat’s breath hot against his neck and reels around to see him beaming at Louis. Lestat impatiently shoos the throng of people away, leaving them standing alone.

“Hi,” Louis breathes.

“Hi.”

“Happy early birthday.”

Lestat slowly tracks his eyes down Louis’ form and he feels like he’s been set ablaze. “Where’s my gift?”

Louis rolls his eyes and reaches into his bag to get out a Tiffany-blue box. He holds it to Lestat with an exaggerated huff. “You act like we weren’t married for decades. Acting like I don’t know you.”

Lestat’s eyes widen as he grabs Louis’ arms in shock, “Oh, you really didn’t need to get me anything, cher. I was just being an ass.”

“Open the damn box,” Louis orders. Lestat quickly obeys, his eyes widening even more as he sees the gift.

It’s a gorgeous gold necklace with diamond encrusted spear-like links that almost resemble barbed wire, matching Lestat’s rockstar vibe perfectly. Lestat draws it out of the box in wonder, mesmerized at the diamonds twinkling in the light, and motions for Louis to put it on.

“I went to the store and picked out the gaudiest thing I could find,” Louis jokes and Lestat rolls his eyes, “What do you think?” He asks, clasping the necklace around Lestat.

“I love it. It’s so beautiful.” Lestat says reverently, his hand caressing the necklace. He tugs Louis in by his waist, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome, baby.” Louis says, lacing his arms around Lestat’s back and bringing him closer. “Have you given my question any thought?”

“And what question was that?” Lestat asks innocently, “I think you’ll have to jog my memory, chéri.”

“Well, if you don’t remember…” Louis starts, moving away from Lestat.

“No, no, no! I remember. I remember,” Lestat shouts, his hands waving wildly. “But will you ask me again?”

Taking Lestat’s hands in his own, Louis does. “Will you be my companion?”

“Hm… I liked how you asked last time. All your flowery lovey-dovey language, telling me how much you want me… how you’re so obsessed with me…”

Louis rolls his eyes again, “Les—”

“I’m just kidding - of course I will,” Lestat interrupts, bringing Louis in for a wild, searing kiss.

A loud groan breaks them apart. Louis looks over to see Daniel with his head in his hands.

“Mister Molloy, if you could leave…” Lestat waves his hand from where his arms wrapped around Louis' neck, “I’m afraid we’re a little busy here.” He pulls Louis back for a kiss.

Daniel stomps up to Lestat and grabs his arm, yanking him away from Louis. “You’re going on in less than five minutes - I’m not gonna let y’all pull another Seattle.”

Louis’ cheeks redden at the memory. Seattle had been the third stop on the tour and Louis made the mistake of wearing a pair of leather pants in an idea to try to match Lestat’s aesthetic. Lestat had ripped them off immediately and they’d fucked for over an hour. It was long enough that Lestat went on stage nearly thirty minutes late. No one had been very pleased with either of them.

“If you had seen him in those pants, you would’ve done the same,” Lestat huffs, turning his nose up at Daniel. “I’m just a man.”

“I really don’t give a fuck. You guys can do your kinky shit later.” Daniel grumbles.

Lestat wrests himself free from Daniel’s grip, diving in to give Louis another passion-filled kiss. “I’ll see you after the show, mon cher.”

Louis kneads into his ass in response, eliciting a shocked moan from Lestat. “I’ll be here.”

“Move it.” Daniel grabs Lestat’s arm again, dragging him into position as Lestat gives Louis a pleading glance behind his back. Louis shakes his head, letting an assistant help to get him settled offstage as he continues to watch Lestat and Daniel bicker.

Louis spends the show feeling just as much amazement as he did the first time - his focus transfixed on Lestat as he performs and dominates the crowd’s attention with each over-the-top move and gesture.

“You’ve been a tremendous crowd tonight! I’d like to leave you with one more song,” Lestat gushes, basking in his fan’s admiration as they cheer wildly. He readies his guitar as he continues, “I’ve heard that this next song has been dubbed the ‘horniest song on Wolfkiller’ and I can’t help but agree. However, I’ve also heard that it’s about a one-night stand and that is simply inaccurate. Rather… this is about a relationship that I’ve seen a lot of you theorizing about…”

He turns to where Louis stands, as he does, his fans cheer even louder. Louis looks into Lestat’s eyes and it’s like the entire world quiets as they gaze at one another.

“My relationship with my northern star - the one that leads me home, my compass and eternal lover -” Lestat starts, Louis’ heart thrumming at his words. “There’s no one for me but you, mon amour. I love you.” Louis’ heart starts beating double time in his chest as Lestat blows him a kiss and a wink before turning back to the audience, “Philadelphia, this is ‘Sainted Lover.’”
