Hawks stares.

“That’s sale tax. And no, depending on where you buy food,” All Might says. He turns blue. “Hawks—surely you’ve done your taxes. The Commission won’t let you practice if you’re not in compliance.”
Hawks makes another face. “Where does one…file taxes?”

keigo suing the commission after realizing he had to file taxes was somehow both hilarious and heartbreaking. like it’s funny on the surface but honestly devastating once you realize how little he understood about his own life under their control. his realization that the commission literally owned him hit hard, but thank god for touya being there to help him through it <3
