Very interesting how the cast tip-toes on the edge of the taboo by using context clues they’ve gathered regarding Subaru.
I personally really enjoyed how Subaru’s fear was conveyed as being some animalistic thing as soon as it looked like the taboo might be violated. This animalistic behavior coupled with how it’s juxtaposed by a part of Subaru yearning for them to know the truth is utterly compelling.
Also. Roswaal was just. Great. The smugness he has because he knows & everybody picking up on that just further adds to this messy situation.
