Giyuu Tomioka is the Water Pillar. A young, calm, reserved, taciturn, and emotionless man. It seemed that nothing affected him and no emotion was reflected in his eyes or body, but he felt. Lately, his heart that beat calmly and slowly, began to beat faster and more restlessly.
"So, what brings you here?" asked the Insect Pillar upon seeing the Water Pillar in the infirmary area. "Is something hurting you?"
Giyuu brought his hand to where his heart was.
"My chest."
"Your chest? Have you been hit recently? Any bruises?" her eyelashes fluttered slowly while evaluating him.
"My heart is beating fast."
"Beating fast?" she questioned, and Kochou allowed herself to joke. "Are you feeling a warmth inside and your cheeks flushing?"
"Do you know what it is?" he asked and the woman was impressed.
Is he in love? And how, as a child, doesn't he realize it?
"Do you really not know what's happening to you?" a smile danced across her face.
Tomioka Giyuu, in love! Who would have thought?
"If you know, tell me."
She shook her head.
"That wouldn't be fun, Tomioka-san. And when do these symptoms appear? Do you see someone and your heart..." she couldn't finish speaking, as the young man answered her.
"I'm having them right now," the woman's cheeks flushed at the implication of those words.
She smiled.
"What are you going to do, Kochou?" Giyuu suddenly said. As he saw Shinobu approaching him, unsettling him and making his poor heart beat harder.
"Checking," she snapped. "Don't move."
However, he did not listen. His body involuntarily went backwards because he felt that fire burning in his veins and the calm that his being felt was transformed into an immense sea of restlessness.
"Are you scared, Tomioka-san?" mocking him as she saw him so defenseless, even could be alleged fearful, as he moved away from her. "I won't hurt you."
She wanted to touch him and see those reactions that apparently he provoked in her.
However, the body of the Water Pillar seeking peace, was walking backwards, but before colliding with a wall and finding no escape, instead he stumbled, causing him to take the woman with him; Therefore, Shinobu had fallen, straddling him while her palms were on Giyuu's chest.
"Well, well," she pronounced surprised as her dilated pupils indicated. "Looks like something reacted… just not your heart."
The man's cheeks turned red.
