❗️READ THE NOTES❗️
“Impossible—H-HOW?” Jaune murmured in shock at the sight before him. Someone he thought he’d never see again—after all, there were no “Huntsmen and Huntresses” in this world, and the last war or disaster was centuries ago! But apparently, the world and fate liked to mess with him, because there, right in front of him, was a companion he had buried, one he still regretted losing, one of his girlf—
“I AM QUEEN BULL—NORAAAAAA”
“Damn it.”
A Monster Girl Nora, A Minotaur
◇◇◇◇
Jaune was trembling and pale. For there before him stood none other than one of his fallen companions. One he thought he would never see again; after all, without Grimm, they would never have lost their homeland, nor would they have been forced to become hunters… so why was he seeing Nora???
Before him, a completely different Nora, yet at the same time, totally the same, was terrifying!
Nora now boasted a height large enough to almost reach Jaune's full height, and he is tall for a normal man!
She still sported her characteristic flaming orange hair and cheerful eyes, but this time she was transformed into a Taurus-Minotaur woman of this world.
She possessed a body that would rival the voluptuous Holstaur Yang! With large, voluminous breasts that seemed enormous even from afar, slender arms but clearly with muscles on display, and an enviable abdomen. But what was striking were two bestial features, as she now sported prominent horns atop her head, her underside was broad and thick, but covered in vibrant orange fur that ended in hooves that replaced her feet, and a tail that wagged excitedly.
In the end, Nora remained a fearsome brute force! She now seemed to have noticed him and stared at him the same way she had stared at Grimms in the past, while gripping the terrifying axe in her hands.
Like prey.
“YOU!” Noticing him, the Great Minotaur pointed at him with her enormous axe. “Knight! You will be my companion! Surrender your essence to me! NOW!”
She punctuated her order by striking the grassy ground with the axe, which opened a crater and crack in the earth. Which was enough to frighten Jaune.
H-how? There shouldn't be AURA in this world! Did I underestimate the strength of the Monster Girls?
But while Jaune was lost in thought, a large figure suddenly appeared above him and landed with a thunderous— BOOM!
Where she landed with one hand open to grab, Nora roared in victory, “Gotcha! Now let’s mate—Huh?!”
But her “victory” was a mere illusion, for where a defeated male body should have been, there was only a broken broom.
“Wow—It seems her strength remains monstrous.” Jaune, who leaped instinctively as soon as he sensed negative intentions—an instinct honed in war—narrowly escaped being crushed by her body and landed safely a few meters away.
“CHEAT! NORA WILL DEFEAT YOU!”
“Damn it, Nora,” Jaune murmured in resignation at the accusatory shout. He had lived long enough to know how stubborn Nora could be, and she hated losing even more.
Straightening his posture, with sharp eyes, Jaune saw only one way to get out of there without becoming a puppet of the Minotaur:
“Very well, if you defeat me, I will surrender, but if you fail, you will calm down, what do you think?”
Jaune proposed as he watched Nora's massive body approaching menacingly. And her response was—
“I refuse!”
Simple and direct, which drew a sigh from Jaune. And again the massive body, belying his speed, appeared before him with outstretched hands.
However—
“I'm sorry, Nora—”
With a flick of his wrist, he deflected Nora's attack using his own strength and speed, which propelled her towards the ground, causing her to fall face-first onto the ground. A technique learned in war, unarmed combat!
“—I won't hurt you, but I won't fight you.”
And he was being honest; he didn't want to resort to violence against one of his beloveds, especially since she was innocent—or almost so—in this world.
But that wasn't enough to take down one of the physically strongest M.G. races, he knew that well. What was proven by her rising with a wave of steam escaping from her nostrils was evidence that her patience was running out.
And soon the “Nora-taurus” stood fully upright.
The earth beneath her hooves cracked with the simple act of standing, and the hot steam escaping from her nostrils seemed to distort the surrounding air. Nora's arm muscles contracted, and the axe in her hand spun slowly, as if it were a natural extension of her body.
Her eyes were shining.
Not with hatred, but with excitement!
“You… are strong,” she growled, her smile too wide to be mere joy. “Clever Jaune, Tough Macho!” she murmured to herself before declaring aloud, “That makes everything better.”
“No—it doesn’t,” Jaune replied, already feeling that old weight pressing against his chest. He kept his stance low, feet firmly on the ground, hands open.
But ignoring her words—she lunged forward again.
Too fast for her size.
Jaune rolled to the side at the last instant, feeling the wind of the axe cut through the air where his head had been. The next impact opened another crater in the carefully tended lawn—something inside him wept for the lost crop.
He quickly tried to destabilize her weight with a kick to the heel, however—
*THUMP!*
With a resounding sound, Jaune felt his foot almost crack as it made contact with Nora’s muscles.
If he remembers correctly, the Minotaurs were terrible fighters, but they had a natural instinct for fighting with axes, so—
“Grrr!”
“What—”
While trying once again to dodge the axe coming from above, in a move that surprised him, Nora managed to use her strength and weight to increase the speed of her attack. Even while dodging, the imbalance caused by the tremors in the ground allowed her to free one hand to grab his shirt and throw him. The result—
“GUH—AAAH!”
Jaune was thrown like a rag doll onto the grass beside him, leaving marks in the dirt and getting covered in grass and mud in the process.
Great. Diplomacy failed.
Jaune dodged again as Nora advanced, this time lowering his body and using his own weight to slide between the Minotaur's legs. He slapped her muscular flank to gain momentum and rolled away, standing up immediately afterward.
“—How about a stalemate—”
In just an instant, Nora's hands were in front of him, ready to grab Jaune—and that's when something, or rather, someone saved him!
“—That's enough, Nora!”
There, in front of him and with its back to Jaune, was a being that resembled a human, yet possessed the characteristics of a "Monster."
Two black bat wings extended from the lower part of its back, and a long, heart-shaped tail and horns adorned its jet-black hair.
Judging by its appearance, and if the description in his memory is correct, this would be a—Succubus?
"Huh? BUT RENNY!" the Minotaur groaned in disagreement with the small Monster in front of him, who stood defending Jaune.
"Enough, Nora! You're scaring him!" The little Demon roared as he glared at the large Minotaur, who seemed to be losing her earlier fury and calming down.
"Humph!" she grunted, puffing out her cheeks. Whatever it was, the Minotaur had calmed down in the presence of little M.G.
Faced with this, Jaune could only finally sigh in relief knowing that it was all over. But when the small being turned to Jaune—
“–R-Ren?” Jaune stammered, for there before him stood his best male friend.
Lie Ren. Even though he now sported a slimmer, androgynous form, with wings, horns, and a demon tail, he would recognize his friend in any form he possessed.
However—
“Hmm? D-Do we know each other, sir?”
The little devil questioned him, his feminine face contorting in confusion and his eyes staring at him like a stranger. It was this question that stung Jaune's heart and reminded him that he was just a stranger to them in this world.
“I-I…no, I…” he tried to speak again, but the words seemed to want to tear his throat apart, the pain of being a mere ghost was like a nail. “I just think I confused you with someone else…”
He whispered almost inaudibly.
“Renny~ we can get his essence right away~ we can trap him and make him our husband easily~”
Like a child, the Great Minotaur kicked the ground in a tantrum. Reminding Jaune of her dangerous presence!
He was lucky that even in another world Rem could calm the storm that was Nora.
“No, Nora!” he reprimanded, before turning his attention back to Jaune. "Sir, excuse the inconvenience, my…sister…is very impulsive and loses control when she's around men, so if that's not a problem, we're leaving—"
With a farewell, Ren began to float with his wings toward the Minotaur sitting on the lawn. But impulsively, without thinking, Jaune interrupted his departure:
“Wait! You…” he saw them both turn and fix their eyes on him, and he took a deep breath for a moment. “Would you like to spend the night here? My house is large, I think it can accommodate a few more people…”
The silence that followed was heavy.
Ren’s wings flapped once, suspending him slightly in the air as he analyzed Jaune more closely. Nora, on the other hand, abruptly raised her head, her eyes shining again—but now with curiosity.
“Spend… the night?” Ren repeated cautiously.
Jaune kept his hands visible, his posture relaxed. No aura. No sword. No hostility.
“No ulterior motives,” he added quickly, casting a meaningful glance at Nora. “You seem to be traveling. And… this region isn’t as safe as it seems.”
That wasn't entirely a lie.
Since awakening in that world, Jaune had learned that Grimm's absence didn't mean the absence of danger. There were wild monsters, hostile tribes that even the Monster Girls couldn't tolerate.
Ren landed softly on the ground, his heart-shaped tail swaying thoughtfully behind him.
“Aren’t you afraid?” he asked suddenly.
Jaune blinked.
“Afraid?”
“You saw us. You know what we are.” Ren’s eyes were sharp now, analyzing his every expression. “And yet you invite us into your home.”
Jaune forced a small smile.
“I’ve fought alongside scarier people.” And he wasn’t kidding, he still had nightmares about that damned Cat and that Grimm hunting dog from Salem.
Nora grinned widely.
“He’s complimenting me!”
“It wasn’t exactly—” Jaune began, but gave up.
Ren continued watching him for a few more seconds… and then sighed.
“Alright. We’ll accept. But only tonight.”
“RENNY!” Nora jumped to her feet with a slight tremor in the ground. “So we can take his essence later?”
“No.” Ren answered automatically.
Jaune cleared his throat.
“There are rules in my house.”
Nora tilted her head.
“Rules?”
“Yes.” He crossed his arms. “No breaking furniture. No craters in the garden. And absolutely no… grabbing the host without permission.”
Nora puffed out her cheeks again.
“What a boring house…”
“Agreed, Nora.” Ren murmured.
The Minotaur snorted hot steam, but eventually nodded.
The walk to the house was strangely silent.
Jaune walked ahead, feeling the two behind him. The sound of Nora's hooves against the earth was heavy, constant. The light beating of Ren's wings was almost comforting—familiar.
He didn't dare look back too much.
His heart still ached.
They were there. Alive. Breathing. Talking.
But they weren't his Nora and Ren.
When they arrived, Nora stopped in front of the large wooden structure, something she had previously ignored in favor of the male in front of her.
“It’s big…” she murmured, impressed.
“Do you live alone?” Ren asked.
“Yes.”
The answer came out too simply.
Ren seemed to notice something there, but didn’t comment.
Jaune opened the door and made an inviting gesture.
“Come in.”
Nora went first. She had to duck slightly to get through the door, her horns almost scraping the frame.
“It smells like bread!” she declared excitedly.
“I had baked some to eat before… I was attacked.”
“Hey!”
Ren put his hand to his forehead.
Jaune closed the door behind them and took a deep breath.
It’s okay. He could handle this; he’d lived with the two of them for decades.
Minutes later, Nora was sitting—or rather, occupying half the rug—devouring three loaves of bread at once. Ren, much more restrained, held a teacup with unexpected elegance.
Jaune watched the two from the kitchen.
It was surreal.
Nora laughed loudly at something Ren was muttering. Her tail swung from side to side, occasionally knocking over an object or item in the house.
“Sorry,” she said without seeming the least bit remorseful, a smile on her face.
Jaune leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
He should keep his distance. Not get involved; they weren’t his Ren and Nora, nor should they be meeting him. But when Nora tried to take the fourth loaf of bread and Ren lightly slapped her hand—
“You’re going to get sick.” —Something inside Jaune almost broke.
It was the same. So similar that it hurt to think he would have to leave them again. Just like he did…
“Mr. Jaune?” Ren called suddenly.
He looked up.
“Yes?”
“Why are you really helping us?”
Direct. Always direct. This was Ren, even in another world, he could be accusatory and at the same time like a serene lake. It was just Ren being…Ren…and as always, Jaune was silent for a few seconds.
“Because…you remind me of important people. People I…liked very much in the…past…”
Nora stopped chewing.
Ren tilted his head slightly.
“People you lost?”
The question was gentle. But it struck like a blade to his heart and Jaune took a deep breath.
“Yes.”
Silence settled again, this time, different.
Ah…great…I ruined the mood…again. Nora was the first to break it.
“So…” she said, wiping crumbs from her mouth. “If we’re anything like those people… were they strong?”
Jaune smiled.
“Ridiculously strong. Much more than me."
“Great!” she grinned widely. “Then me too!”
Ren watched Jaune intently. And for the first time since they met in that world, something changed in his gaze; it wasn't distrust, it was… curiosity, maybe even a hint of something else.
“We'll only bother you tonight,” Ren finally said. “We'll leave early tomorrow.”
Jaune nodded.
But something told him that this wouldn't be the last time their paths crossed.
And, as he watched the energetic Minotaur and the disciplined little succubus arguing over who would get the last loaf of bread—
He realized something dangerous.
Maybe the gods weren't just mocking him. Maybe they were giving him a second chance.
And this time—
He wouldn't let anyone die…
No one he loved…
◇◇◇◇
Ironically, after such a hectic night, it was the first time in a long time that Jaune had slept calmly and serenely, without nightmares.
He dreamed of his days in Beacon. Nora arguing with Yang about food, Weiss talking about chores, and Ruby grumbling about "being boring," Blake reading his books while pretending to listen to The Others. Ren giving him a restrained smile and his partner…her…
Everything was perfect, he was happy, and Beacon was standing, everything was good.
No wars or life-or-death struggles to worry about. This was his ideal world, peace, tranquility, and having everyone he had ever loved with him.
Maybe…it was this warm feeling he missed…
Even the warmth in his groin was cozy and wet, strangely pleasurable—
Wait…warmth in his groin?...wet…tight…
where had he felt this before?...
…
……
WAIT!!!
Immediately, Jaune opened his eyes in the darkness of his room, blinking to try and ward off sleep and adjust to the dark. He quickly lifted his sheet, and what he saw was—
Slurp~ghu~
Pale lips pressed against his groin, sucking his "little friend" as if their lives depended on it—
And when he finally removed the sheet—
"Hmm~Slurp~" the obscene sound of lips sucking his member seemed to completely fill his ears, but what shocked Jaune was the sight of who was there.
Releasing his rigid member with a loud "pop" and in the process a deep groan from Jaune, it was that person he never imagined capable of this—
“Sorry Jaune~ I tried but—You smell sooooo good~ that I couldn’t resist~”
“R-Ren!”
There, in front of him, was Ren! In all his succubus glory. His body was completely stripped of his clothes, which allowed Jaune to see the small swelling that formed breasts on his chest, and finally see the main difference in his friend in this world~
“Y-you’re a girl!”
“Hmm~ yes~ please don’t let me down, Master~”
There, the secret place where Ren was shamelessly sticking his fingers was nothing more than a small pink slit, which seemed to drool like a waterfall.
Ren was a girl, and she was only a few centimeters away from being impaled by the needy member of the Ex-Knight.
And Jaune simply froze at his options of how to proceed.
