Chapter 1: Prologue: Rusted Knight
Notes:
I have a question: should I include the "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" fandom in the tags? That's where I'll be basing the appearances and species of "Monster Girls" in the RWBY universe. What do you think?
Oh—Please! Tell me which Monster Girls from "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" you think would match the girls in the RWBY universe!

Chapter Text
A ruin of a fallen world could be seen at dawn. Fire, blood, and destruction were all that remained of the ancient four kingdoms. A battle for survival that resulted in mutual destruction between enemies and allies.
And among these, only two beings still stood on this battlefield.
A rusty knight, bathed in the blood of friends and enemies. Carrying burdens heavier than those he sought. His dream of being a "hero" was now just the childish delusions of a child. There was no "justice" in it, no glorious legend, only extinguished and empty blue eyes.
This was Jaune Arc.
Just an epic of tragedy and pain.
The other before him, fallen on the ground, was a being one could doubt had ever been human. A woman with skin as white as wax and covered in black veins, ruby eyes stared with resigned resentment at the man before her. The dazzling beauty she once possessed was now overshadowed by the horror of an immortal witch. Salem.
This was the end for both of them, their final battle.
"End it once and for all…Jaune."
A voice echoed in the knight's mind, echoes of what was once a wise mage, but who was now merely a remnant of bygone eras, sunk under the weight of his mistakes.
With heavy steps, the man, as mentioned, approached the fallen body of the Witch. And with both hands, he raised his sword, pointing directly at its core—her heart.
“This is the end, Salem…for both of us…”
There was no anger, no joy, no resentment in his voice. Only the emptiness of acceptance. Everything had already been destroyed, any kind of memories were lost. All the women he had once loved, he had to bury. There was nothing left to hold onto resentment.
“Come. Knight.”
With a silent smile, the Witch gave up trying to resist; she, who had lived countless millennia, was as weary as the mage. Death was nothing more than a yearning at this point. That is why she opened her arms and embraced her like an old friend. And with a sound of flesh being torn, her chest was pierced by the blade. And the light in the Grimm Queen's eyes went out, and her pale body fell.
Releasing the sword's hilt, Jaune watched the last living being in the world succumb. His eyes lingered on her fallen form.
It wasn't the first time he had killed someone who sought death or the end. But it was always melancholic.
“Ah… it's over…it's all over…Ozma…”
Muttering to the voice that had fallen silent in his mind, Jaune allowed himself to fall to his knees on the ground, feeling as defeated as his enemy.
He closed his eyes, wondering if he should also end his life with his trusty blade, but his planned suicide was thwarted by two lights that appeared before him.
One so golden it shone like the sun.
And one as dark as night.
They were the twin gods of light and darkness.
The instigators and those who lit the fuse of war.
“Well, dear brother, it seems they haven’t learned their lesson,” said the being of darkness.
“But we can guide them again. This time better, the world has been swept away, we have a framework for it,” replied the being of light.
“This time, brother, no tricks.”
Both seemed to be in their own world, ignoring the living man, the last human, at their feet. At least until the god of light recognized him.
“Well! And look, brother, the last of the righteous is still standing. I think if that’s the case, I’ve won.”
“That’s truly a surprise. He’s stayed alive all this time? I believe a reward would be fitting, what do you think, brother?” The god of darkness questioned, even without a face, it was possible to detect the humor in his voice.
“I believe so, brother.” Equally noted in the being of light. “Perhaps~ a new world, one where he can live in peace! We have many of those under our command.”
Faced with his twin’s words, the Being of Darkness nodded before turning to the man who was trying to ignore them.
“What do you think, Human, Jaune Arc?”
Jaune Arc remained silent.
His fallen body still embedded in the blood-soaked earth, the cold wind cutting through his rusty armor. The blue eyes, once full of dreams, now merely reflected the two entities before him—not with reverence, nor fear… only with resignation.
A new world.
Peace.
Reward.
Empty words.
He let out a hoarse, short laugh, almost a choke.
“Peace…?” His voice came out low, broken, as if each syllable had been forcibly ripped away. “You… speak of peace… after all this?”
With effort, Jaune stood. His body protested, muscles torn, bones cracked, his aura nonexistent. Still, he stood—not like a hero… but like what was left of a man.
“You call this a lesson?” he continued, his eyes finally lifting to meet the gods. “Kingdoms burned. Children dead. Friends buried one by one. Lovers taking each other’s lives… until there’s no one left to mourn.”
The golden light of the God of Light flickered slightly, like a flame touched by the wind.
The darkness of the God of Darkness seemed to thicken, interested.
“All of this,” Jaune opened his arms, indicating the dead world around him, “was you.”
For a brief moment, silence stretched.
“Watch your words, human,” warned the God of Light, still serene, but now firm. “You stand before your creators.”
“Creators?” Jaune repeated, with a bitter, almost laugh-out-loud laugh. “No. Creators don’t abandon what they do. You just… left and left us without knowing how to fix the mess you made.”
He closed his trembling hand around the hilt of the sword embedded in Salem’s body.
“You want to give me a new world?” His eyes narrowed. “A new chessboard.”
The God of Darkness leaned slightly forward, curious.
“And if so?” he asked, amused. “Would you refuse to live again?”
Jaune took a deep breath.
The faces of the women he had loved over the decades flashed through his mind:
Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Penny… Pyrrha… so many others… crossed his mind like ghosts that would never leave him.
“I don’t want any more blood on my hands,” he finally said. “Nor to cause the death of others I love.”
He dropped his sword. Salem’s body remained motionless, finally just a corpse.
“If I accept,” he continued, facing both gods, “it won’t be as a plaything. Nor as a hero. Nor as your damned champion.”
Light and darkness seemed to react together.
“Then how?” they questioned, almost in unison.
Jaune Arc raised his chin, remembering a certain joke a bombshell blonde had told him, which brought a smile to his face.
“I think I’d make a great farmer.”
And at this moment, in another world, another life, a certain alternate Jaune Arc, a mere farmer in an abnormal world, had his soul fused and his mind reformed by Ancient Gods. Thus giving life to a new Jaune.
And like a baby's cry for its new life, Jaune gave its first cry of awakening—
“I ENDED UP IN A WORLD OF MONSTER GIRLS???”

Please tell me which monster girls from "Minster Girl Encyclopedia" you think would match the girls from the RWBY universe!
Chapter 2: New life, old loves
Summary:
Jaune is adjusting to his life and the new world peacefully, but he still has ghosts haunting him. And old loves reappear in her new life.
Notes:
This chapter is full of universe explanations and recaps! We won't have sex yet, but we'll start that in the next one! This one will also introduce the first M.G. (monster girls) in the story! This isn't a story about Depression and PTSD, it's more about a healthy and fun recovery, so I'm sorry to those who were expecting those dramas with dozens of chapters about traumas and things like that! Jaune has already accepted things as they are and doesn't hold grudges or resentment, as mentioned in the previous chapter, he just wants to be able to enjoy life peacefully before he dies! But of course, he will still have flashbacks of what he lost, but I will try not to make the entire narrative revolve around melancholy and sadness, that's not my forte!
FINALLY! The appearance of the monster girls is in the END NOTES!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

“—Guh!”
A grunt of exertion echoed as boxes were unloaded onto the ground, coming from a new shipment to the farm.
Normally, a group of workers would be doing this, but this farm was quite solitary—after all, there was only one “man” living here. Besides, these loads were basically just reserves, and he had plenty of free time, so it wasn’t a problem for Jaune to unload them himself.
“Phew!” Sighing, Jaune wiped the sweat from his forehead. “And with that, that’s everything… I think.” he murmured while looking over what he had already unloaded. It was a considerable amount when taking the weight into account, but Jaune was a strong young man with a large body to match, so nothing seemed off.
After clapping his hands to clean off the remaining dust, he organized the last of the boxes and finally allowed himself to leave the large barn. Reaching the exit at last, after grabbing his bag that rested near the door atop a crate, the sight that greeted him was… one that many would consider breathtaking.
An open field beneath a clear blue sky. Flowers, calm wildlife, and pastures all evoked the idea of “peace.” It was the kind of scenery that would make anyone tired of city life weep upon seeing it.
Still, the land was far too large for a single person, and expensive to maintain.
Even so, it was already a common sight for Jaune. After all, these were the “ARC Farms,” vast stretches of land controlled by his family, usually used for field labor and agricultural production. It was his family’s legacy in this world. Since there had never been Grimms here, his family had been able to live and prosper in the countryside.
A life of peace.
Exactly what Jaune had wished for a few months ago—and what he was still maintaining under his care since the “accident” that sent him here.
“...” His mouth closed into a straight line as he remembered that. It had taken time to get used to sleeping peacefully again, without fearing waking up to Grimms biting his foot or tearing through his tent.
“But enough of that! I asked for a peaceful life and a peaceful world! And that’s how I’m going to live!”
Soon, he simply shook his head and continued walking along the pasture fences, letting himself admire how well everything was still being cared for, while his thoughts wandered.
However, his peaceful life had already encountered trouble in the first days after he transmigrated to this new world—trouble he knew very well:
“JAUNE! JAUNE! OVER HERE!”
A distinct voice snapped his attention back to reality, and he couldn’t say he was surprised by who he saw.
Running toward the fence line at high speed, bouncing with every step, was one of the infamous “Monster Girls” of this world—and strangely enough, his childhood friend in this reality.
“Hey, Ruby.” He greeted his friend, smiling lightly at her excitement, stopping in front of the fence and waiting for her. She soon reached him, hopping against the relatively short fence—only reaching about half her torso, even though she was much shorter than him.
Looking at the cheerful, bouncing girl, he felt warmth bloom inside his chest. Since Penny’s death by his own hands, Ruby had grown increasingly melancholic, something that exploded during the war against Salem. The sweet Reaper he knew had become a bitter girl, carrying the weight of everyone’s deaths on her shoulders. They had become far too similar. Maybe that was why they ended up in a relationship.
And maybe that was why she ended up…
“—Aune?”
“Huh? Oh! Sorry, Ruby, I got a little distracted.”
He shook his head, dispelling those melancholic memories. It had been months, and he was trying to enjoy his new life—and seeing this joyful, childish side of Ruby, from when they were happy, helped a lot.
“Hmph!” She puffed out her cheeks, blushing as he laughed at her cute expression, but soon changed when he gestured for her to continue.
As he listened to her, he noticed her new “form.” In this world, somehow, millennia ago, a change had occurred that caused 40% of humanity to become monster girls. Since then, they had become a recurring part of life in Remnant. Of course, there had been wars and much conflict, but currently, peace reigned—mainly because, for some reason, Monster Girls seemed to have an almost genetic desire to bond with humanity, forming friendly and loving relationships with them.¹
Normally, a Monster Girl would have already attacked him to claim him as a “husband,” but thanks to this area being rich in “mamono”², they could remain stable enough to avoid falling into Savagery.
The transition from the revolutionary “Leader of Team RWBY and RNJR” to a Holstaur—a cow-woman known for her gentle and sometimes excessively affectionate nature—was still something that short-circuited Jaune’s brain.
In the old world, Ruby was the “Heroine” he had come to admire during the war. But that woman consumed by the burden of battle was gone, and here, she was… an adorable Monster Girl! Curvy, with a pair of small horns and a golden bell that chimed softly around her neck.
“Jaune! Are you listening to me?” Ruby tilted her head, the bell letting out an audible cling. She rested her slender but strong arms atop the fence, making the wood creak slightly.
“I said Yang is coming, and she expects the ‘Great Farmer Arc’ to have the best sour apples in the region for her.”
Jaune blinked, forcing himself back to the present. The name “Yang” still caused a pang in his chest—a ghostly reflex from seeing Yang’s arm torn off and remembering watching one of his greatest romances fall while defending Mistral. But here? Yang was another Holstaur who had grown up alongside them, more like an older sister to him and Ruby.
“Apples… sure,” Jaune said, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes, but was enough for Ruby. “The apple trees are loaded. I’ll pick out the best ones.”
“Great!” Ruby hopped, her short tail with its fluffy tip wagging frantically. Suddenly, her expression changed. That childish innocence gave way to something more… instinctual. Something the Monster Girl manual labeled as ‘DANGEROUS.’ “But you know, Jaune… I ran all the way here. And the sun is really hot today…”
She pressed herself against the fence, her cow-patterned top barely containing her new physiology. Jaune felt cold sweat run down his spine. He knew what was coming. In this world, a Monster Girl’s affection was just as dangerous as a Grimm!
“Ruby, I still need to finish organizing the stock and—”
“Just a little!” She reached out, grabbing his wrist. Her strength was surprising—a reminder that despite her sweet appearance, she was still a creature of immense power. “You look so tired, Jaune. Always working alone, even when you don’t need to anymore. Let me take care of you a bit? Holstaurs are really good at that, you know?”
Her voice lowered, becoming something between a friendly whisper and the purr of a predator that had already caught its prey. Jaune looked at her hands—no battle calluses, no scars. Just soft skin. Something he had missed in her. Something he would ruin if he touched it.
It was a trap.
One he desperately wanted to accept, but that his knight’s soul—still coated in rust—feared. If he gave in to that sweetness, what would remain of the man who had sworn never to forget the dead? Jaune feared he might taint Ruby. His dear, sweet Ruby.
“Ruby… you know I can’t… we can’t,” he murmured, his voice faltering.
Ruby paused for a moment, her ruby eyes shining with a gentleness that shouldn’t belong to that playful creature. She released his wrist, only to slide her hand up to his cheek, stroking the light beard he had let grow.
“I know,” she said softly, the bell at her neck falling silent. “I don’t know what happened during those months you isolated yourself— not even Yang could get anything out of you… but… let us help you carry that burden. That’s what wives are for, right?”
Jaune froze. “Wives?”
Ruby let out a mischievous giggle, the heavy atmosphere evaporating instantly as she returned to her usual energetic self.
“By Vale’s Interspecies Marriage Law~ if you accept my milk and my pampering for more than a week, the marriage contract is automatic! You didn’t read the pamphlet Mayor Ozpin gave you?”
Jaune felt his face heat up. Ozpin. Even in this world, that man continued moving pieces so Jaune would never have a single moment of complete peace.
“THAT DAMN OLD MAN!” Jaune shouted at the sky, though there was a faint hint of laughter in his voice for the first time in years.
“Hihihi,” Ruby’s cute giggles echoed across the pasture—something that caressed his soul with a euphoria far too dangerous for him.
Ah—he remembered how much he had missed that.
“Hey, sis~ Did some gYang~tic problem happen around here?”
“That was awful, Yang.”
Hearing her sister arrive by the bell chiming at her neck, Ruby grumbled as Jaune opened his eyes wide upon seeing the other, older and more voluptuous Holstaur of the two. Yang Xiao-Long. Just as vibrant as ever.
Despite Holstaur clothing doing nothing to help Jaune not imagine perversions—especially with Yang’s “ample” size.
Yang Xiao-Long stopped a few meters from the fence, arms crossed beneath her generous bust, a wide smile stamped across her sun-kissed face. Her horns were slightly larger than Ruby’s, the bell at her neck deeper in tone—matching her dominant presence.
“Wow…” she whistled softly. “Every time I come here I forget how… big you’ve gotten, Jaune.”
Jaune swallowed hard.
“Yang.” He nodded, trying to keep his eyes on her face. He failed miserably for half a second before correcting himself. “Good to see you.”
“Hmm~ so formal,” she teased, approaching the fence and resting her elbows on it, making the wood creak even more than it had with Ruby. “You used to call me ‘Sis Yang,’ remember?”
Ruby huffed. “Hey! Stop teasing him as soon as you arrive!”
“Teasing?” Yang feigned innocence. “I’m just… inspecting the merchandise.”
Jaune rubbed his face, feeling the heat rise again.
“Did you two come just to torture me, or do you want the apples?”
Yang laughed loudly, a warm, carefree sound—so different from the laughter he remembered echoing across ash-covered battlefields.
“Relax, farmer,” she said. “We came for the apples and for you. The whole village’s been talking about how much you’ve been hiding.”
Ruby nodded, quieter now, eyes focused on him.
“You barely show up to the parties anymore… not even the harvest festivals.”
The silence stretched for a few seconds before Jaune sighed deeply.
“Okay, okay, you win. I’ll let you visit me more often.”
“YES!”
“Yaaaaang!”
“Accept it, I won, sis~”
Watching the sisters bicker amicably, Jaune smiled faintly.
He missed this.
Maybe he really should try to be happier in this world.
◇◇◇◇
Later, Jaune was at his house on his land.
Jaune’s house sat on a small elevation ahead of the pastures where his girls liked to rest. Like almost everything bearing the Arc name: strong wood, straight and sturdy lines, functionality over beauty. It wasn’t small by any means—it could even serve as a motel for traveling groups—but it held the lonely emptiness of someone who lived alone—isolated. Some would call it solitude; he called it necessary silence after everything.
Even so, it was oppressive in its own way. Jaune had been trying to adapt to his current life, and he thought he had done fairly well. Well, at least his personal life—his social and family life was still… strange, but nothing that triggered him. Everyone was fine, and that was enough for him.
“Ah. Well,” he sighed, stretching as he stood up from the table covered in bills and farm expenses. “The life of a farmer is relaxing… sure, when you forget about the manual labor and tending the crops, but compared to a war, how hard could it be—”
Jaune’s words were cut short by a loud crash outside his house! Something that reactivated his fight-or-flight instincts—
“Shit shit shit!”
The retired knight quickly rushed outside with the first weapon he could find nearby—a broom?
“Whoever you are—I’m armed and I’m not afraid to use it!”
Shouting in a deep voice, trying to sound intimidating, Jaune reached his porch, where he had a clear view of where the noise had come from. But what he saw surprised him even more.
“Impossible—H-HOW?” Jaune murmured in shock at the sight before him. Someone he thought he would never see again. After all, there were no “Huntsmen and Huntresses” in this world, and the last war or disaster had been centuries ago! But apparently, the world and fate liked to mess with him, because right there, standing before him, was a comrade he had buried—one he still regretted losing—one of his girlf—
“I AM THE BULL QUEEN—NORAAAAAA!”

Chapter 4: Not a Chapter( This chapter will be deleted when it's released.)
Chapter Text
For those wondering why I haven't released Chapter 3 yet, even though it's ready, the reason is that deciding on the direction and ending of this chapter was VERY difficult. I've already written 3 versions of it and I'm undecided on which one to follow, which are:
- The completely Lemon version (with female domination)
- A versão sem lemon(Focando mais no desenvolvimento de Jaune e as meninas)
- The normal version with lemon only at the end (A mix of the previous 2)
So, I wanted to ask you, which of these 3 versions do you prefer? I prefer the 2nd or 3rd version, but I'll leave it up to you! And the "Kinks" and extras will always be in the Notes! So always read them!
Once the chapter is released, it will disappear.
Chapter 5: Former "partners"
Summary:
Jaune reunites with old "partners," a very big coincidence of fate. After all, it was just a coincidence...right?
Notes:
Version 3 won! I hope you enjoy it! In this chapter we will have:
Harassment and attempted rape by men!
For those unfamiliar with the MGE universe, it is very common for the more "savage" races of MGEs to be quite aggressive when finding a mate, with many attacking and dominating any man they see to make them their husbands and raping them. But usually after the first time, the MGE calms down and becomes a docile girl with her "husband".
And among these, the Minotaurs are among the aggressive Mayans! And since Nora was already impulsive and explosive, we can know what being from an aggressive MGE race would cause her!
And we have the debut of our Fem Ren! Believe it or not, she is a very important character for the story and will have an exclusive "interlude" chapter for her! So stay tuned! Her final scene in this chapter will be of great importance, even Ren being a woman now is a narrative factor! And with that, I hope you enjoy the chapter! It may seem short, but since I had to cut a lot of the lemon content from version 1, it's not as long as I wanted, but I hope you like it 🥰.
The next chapter is already halfway done and I plan to post it this week, and it will be an interlude chapter about a character I think many of you are waiting for!
Thank you for reading!
As soon as I can, I'll update the notes with images of Ren and Nora's "MGE" forms, so stay tuned!

“Impossible—H-HOW?” Jaune murmured in shock at the sight before him. Someone he thought he’d never see again—after all, there were no “Huntsmen and Huntresses” in this world, and the last war or disaster was centuries ago! But apparently, the world and fate liked to mess with him, because there, right in front of him, was a companion he had buried, one he still regretted losing, one of his girlf—
“I AM QUEEN BULL—NORAAAAAA”
“Damn it.”
A Monster Girl Nora, A Minotaur
◇◇◇◇
Jaune was trembling and pale. For there before him stood none other than one of his fallen companions. One he thought he would never see again; after all, without Grimm, they would never have lost their homeland, nor would they have been forced to become hunters… so why was he seeing Nora???
Before him, a completely different Nora, yet at the same time, totally the same, was terrifying!
Nora now boasted a height large enough to almost reach Jaune's full height, and he is tall for a normal man!
She still sported her characteristic flaming orange hair and cheerful eyes, but this time she was transformed into a Taurus-Minotaur woman of this world.
She possessed a body that would rival the voluptuous Holstaur Yang! With large, voluminous breasts that seemed enormous even from afar, slender arms but clearly with muscles on display, and an enviable abdomen. But what was striking were two bestial features, as she now sported prominent horns atop her head, her underside was broad and thick, but covered in vibrant orange fur that ended in hooves that replaced her feet, and a tail that wagged excitedly.
In the end, Nora remained a fearsome brute force! She now seemed to have noticed him and stared at him the same way she had stared at Grimms in the past, while gripping the terrifying axe in her hands.
Like prey.
“YOU!” Noticing him, the Great Minotaur pointed at him with her enormous axe. “Knight! You will be my companion! Surrender your essence to me! NOW!”
She punctuated her order by striking the grassy ground with the axe, which opened a crater and crack in the earth. Which was enough to frighten Jaune.
H-how? There shouldn't be AURA in this world! Did I underestimate the strength of the Monster Girls?
But while Jaune was lost in thought, a large figure suddenly appeared above him and landed with a thunderous— BOOM!
Where she landed with one hand open to grab, Nora roared in victory, “Gotcha! Now let’s mate—Huh?!”
But her “victory” was a mere illusion, for where a defeated male body should have been, there was only a broken broom.
“Wow—It seems her strength remains monstrous.” Jaune, who leaped instinctively as soon as he sensed negative intentions—an instinct honed in war—narrowly escaped being crushed by her body and landed safely a few meters away.
“CHEAT! NORA WILL DEFEAT YOU!”
“Damn it, Nora,” Jaune murmured in resignation at the accusatory shout. He had lived long enough to know how stubborn Nora could be, and she hated losing even more.
Straightening his posture, with sharp eyes, Jaune saw only one way to get out of there without becoming a puppet of the Minotaur:
“Very well, if you defeat me, I will surrender, but if you fail, you will calm down, what do you think?”
Jaune proposed as he watched Nora's massive body approaching menacingly. And her response was—
“I refuse!”
Simple and direct, which drew a sigh from Jaune. And again the massive body, belying his speed, appeared before him with outstretched hands.
However—
“I'm sorry, Nora—”
With a flick of his wrist, he deflected Nora's attack using his own strength and speed, which propelled her towards the ground, causing her to fall face-first onto the ground. A technique learned in war, unarmed combat!
“—I won't hurt you, but I won't fight you.”
And he was being honest; he didn't want to resort to violence against one of his beloveds, especially since she was innocent—or almost so—in this world.
But that wasn't enough to take down one of the physically strongest M.G. races, he knew that well. What was proven by her rising with a wave of steam escaping from her nostrils was evidence that her patience was running out.
And soon the “Nora-taurus” stood fully upright.
The earth beneath her hooves cracked with the simple act of standing, and the hot steam escaping from her nostrils seemed to distort the surrounding air. Nora's arm muscles contracted, and the axe in her hand spun slowly, as if it were a natural extension of her body.
Her eyes were shining.
Not with hatred, but with excitement!
“You… are strong,” she growled, her smile too wide to be mere joy. “Clever Jaune, Tough Macho!” she murmured to herself before declaring aloud, “That makes everything better.”
“No—it doesn’t,” Jaune replied, already feeling that old weight pressing against his chest. He kept his stance low, feet firmly on the ground, hands open.
But ignoring her words—she lunged forward again.
Too fast for her size.
Jaune rolled to the side at the last instant, feeling the wind of the axe cut through the air where his head had been. The next impact opened another crater in the carefully tended lawn—something inside him wept for the lost crop.
He quickly tried to destabilize her weight with a kick to the heel, however—
*THUMP!*
With a resounding sound, Jaune felt his foot almost crack as it made contact with Nora’s muscles.
If he remembers correctly, the Minotaurs were terrible fighters, but they had a natural instinct for fighting with axes, so—
“Grrr!”
“What—”
While trying once again to dodge the axe coming from above, in a move that surprised him, Nora managed to use her strength and weight to increase the speed of her attack. Even while dodging, the imbalance caused by the tremors in the ground allowed her to free one hand to grab his shirt and throw him. The result—
“GUH—AAAH!”
Jaune was thrown like a rag doll onto the grass beside him, leaving marks in the dirt and getting covered in grass and mud in the process.
Great. Diplomacy failed.
Jaune dodged again as Nora advanced, this time lowering his body and using his own weight to slide between the Minotaur's legs. He slapped her muscular flank to gain momentum and rolled away, standing up immediately afterward.
“—How about a stalemate—”
In just an instant, Nora's hands were in front of him, ready to grab Jaune—and that's when something, or rather, someone saved him!
“—That's enough, Nora!”
There, in front of him and with its back to Jaune, was a being that resembled a human, yet possessed the characteristics of a "Monster."
Two black bat wings extended from the lower part of its back, and a long, heart-shaped tail and horns adorned its jet-black hair.
Judging by its appearance, and if the description in his memory is correct, this would be a—Succubus?
"Huh? BUT RENNY!" the Minotaur groaned in disagreement with the small Monster in front of him, who stood defending Jaune.
"Enough, Nora! You're scaring him!" The little Demon roared as he glared at the large Minotaur, who seemed to be losing her earlier fury and calming down.
"Humph!" she grunted, puffing out her cheeks. Whatever it was, the Minotaur had calmed down in the presence of little M.G.
Faced with this, Jaune could only finally sigh in relief knowing that it was all over. But when the small being turned to Jaune—
“–R-Ren?” Jaune stammered, for there before him stood his best male friend.
Lie Ren. Even though he now sported a slimmer, androgynous form, with wings, horns, and a demon tail, he would recognize his friend in any form he possessed.
However—
“Hmm? D-Do we know each other, sir?”
The little devil questioned him, his feminine face contorting in confusion and his eyes staring at him like a stranger. It was this question that stung Jaune's heart and reminded him that he was just a stranger to them in this world.
“I-I…no, I…” he tried to speak again, but the words seemed to want to tear his throat apart, the pain of being a mere ghost was like a nail. “I just think I confused you with someone else…”
He whispered almost inaudibly.
“Renny~ we can get his essence right away~ we can trap him and make him our husband easily~”
Like a child, the Great Minotaur kicked the ground in a tantrum. Reminding Jaune of her dangerous presence!
He was lucky that even in another world Rem could calm the storm that was Nora.
“No, Nora!” he reprimanded, before turning his attention back to Jaune. "Sir, excuse the inconvenience, my…sister…is very impulsive and loses control when she's around men, so if that's not a problem, we're leaving—"
With a farewell, Ren began to float with his wings toward the Minotaur sitting on the lawn. But impulsively, without thinking, Jaune interrupted his departure:
“Wait! You…” he saw them both turn and fix their eyes on him, and he took a deep breath for a moment. “Would you like to spend the night here? My house is large, I think it can accommodate a few more people…”
The silence that followed was heavy.
Ren’s wings flapped once, suspending him slightly in the air as he analyzed Jaune more closely. Nora, on the other hand, abruptly raised her head, her eyes shining again—but now with curiosity.
“Spend… the night?” Ren repeated cautiously.
Jaune kept his hands visible, his posture relaxed. No aura. No sword. No hostility.
“No ulterior motives,” he added quickly, casting a meaningful glance at Nora. “You seem to be traveling. And… this region isn’t as safe as it seems.”
That wasn't entirely a lie.
Since awakening in that world, Jaune had learned that Grimm's absence didn't mean the absence of danger. There were wild monsters, hostile tribes that even the Monster Girls couldn't tolerate.
Ren landed softly on the ground, his heart-shaped tail swaying thoughtfully behind him.
“Aren’t you afraid?” he asked suddenly.
Jaune blinked.
“Afraid?”
“You saw us. You know what we are.” Ren’s eyes were sharp now, analyzing his every expression. “And yet you invite us into your home.”
Jaune forced a small smile.
“I’ve fought alongside scarier people.” And he wasn’t kidding, he still had nightmares about that damned Cat and that Grimm hunting dog from Salem.
Nora grinned widely.
“He’s complimenting me!”
“It wasn’t exactly—” Jaune began, but gave up.
Ren continued watching him for a few more seconds… and then sighed.
“Alright. We’ll accept. But only tonight.”
“RENNY!” Nora jumped to her feet with a slight tremor in the ground. “So we can take his essence later?”
“No.” Ren answered automatically.
Jaune cleared his throat.
“There are rules in my house.”
Nora tilted her head.
“Rules?”
“Yes.” He crossed his arms. “No breaking furniture. No craters in the garden. And absolutely no… grabbing the host without permission.”
Nora puffed out her cheeks again.
“What a boring house…”
“Agreed, Nora.” Ren murmured.
The Minotaur snorted hot steam, but eventually nodded.
The walk to the house was strangely silent.
Jaune walked ahead, feeling the two behind him. The sound of Nora's hooves against the earth was heavy, constant. The light beating of Ren's wings was almost comforting—familiar.
He didn't dare look back too much.
His heart still ached.
They were there. Alive. Breathing. Talking.
But they weren't his Nora and Ren.
When they arrived, Nora stopped in front of the large wooden structure, something she had previously ignored in favor of the male in front of her.
“It’s big…” she murmured, impressed.
“Do you live alone?” Ren asked.
“Yes.”
The answer came out too simply.
Ren seemed to notice something there, but didn’t comment.
Jaune opened the door and made an inviting gesture.
“Come in.”
Nora went first. She had to duck slightly to get through the door, her horns almost scraping the frame.
“It smells like bread!” she declared excitedly.
“I had baked some to eat before… I was attacked.”
“Hey!”
Ren put his hand to his forehead.
Jaune closed the door behind them and took a deep breath.
It’s okay. He could handle this; he’d lived with the two of them for decades.
Minutes later, Nora was sitting—or rather, occupying half the rug—devouring three loaves of bread at once. Ren, much more restrained, held a teacup with unexpected elegance.
Jaune watched the two from the kitchen.
It was surreal.
Nora laughed loudly at something Ren was muttering. Her tail swung from side to side, occasionally knocking over an object or item in the house.
“Sorry,” she said without seeming the least bit remorseful, a smile on her face.
Jaune leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
He should keep his distance. Not get involved; they weren’t his Ren and Nora, nor should they be meeting him. But when Nora tried to take the fourth loaf of bread and Ren lightly slapped her hand—
“You’re going to get sick.” —Something inside Jaune almost broke.
It was the same. So similar that it hurt to think he would have to leave them again. Just like he did…
“Mr. Jaune?” Ren called suddenly.
He looked up.
“Yes?”
“Why are you really helping us?”
Direct. Always direct. This was Ren, even in another world, he could be accusatory and at the same time like a serene lake. It was just Ren being…Ren…and as always, Jaune was silent for a few seconds.
“Because…you remind me of important people. People I…liked very much in the…past…”
Nora stopped chewing.
Ren tilted his head slightly.
“People you lost?”
The question was gentle. But it struck like a blade to his heart and Jaune took a deep breath.
“Yes.”
Silence settled again, this time, different.
Ah…great…I ruined the mood…again. Nora was the first to break it.
“So…” she said, wiping crumbs from her mouth. “If we’re anything like those people… were they strong?”
Jaune smiled.
“Ridiculously strong. Much more than me."
“Great!” she grinned widely. “Then me too!”
Ren watched Jaune intently. And for the first time since they met in that world, something changed in his gaze; it wasn't distrust, it was… curiosity, maybe even a hint of something else.
“We'll only bother you tonight,” Ren finally said. “We'll leave early tomorrow.”
Jaune nodded.
But something told him that this wouldn't be the last time their paths crossed.
And, as he watched the energetic Minotaur and the disciplined little succubus arguing over who would get the last loaf of bread—
He realized something dangerous.
Maybe the gods weren't just mocking him. Maybe they were giving him a second chance.
And this time—
He wouldn't let anyone die…
No one he loved…
◇◇◇◇
Ironically, after such a hectic night, it was the first time in a long time that Jaune had slept calmly and serenely, without nightmares.
He dreamed of his days in Beacon. Nora arguing with Yang about food, Weiss talking about chores, and Ruby grumbling about "being boring," Blake reading his books while pretending to listen to The Others. Ren giving him a restrained smile and his partner…her…
Everything was perfect, he was happy, and Beacon was standing, everything was good.
No wars or life-or-death struggles to worry about. This was his ideal world, peace, tranquility, and having everyone he had ever loved with him.
Maybe…it was this warm feeling he missed…
Even the warmth in his groin was cozy and wet, strangely pleasurable—
Wait…warmth in his groin?...wet…tight…
where had he felt this before?...
…
……
WAIT!!!
Immediately, Jaune opened his eyes in the darkness of his room, blinking to try and ward off sleep and adjust to the dark. He quickly lifted his sheet, and what he saw was—
Slurp~ghu~
Pale lips pressed against his groin, sucking his "little friend" as if their lives depended on it—
And when he finally removed the sheet—
"Hmm~Slurp~" the obscene sound of lips sucking his member seemed to completely fill his ears, but what shocked Jaune was the sight of who was there.
Releasing his rigid member with a loud "pop" and in the process a deep groan from Jaune, it was that person he never imagined capable of this—
“Sorry Jaune~ I tried but—You smell sooooo good~ that I couldn’t resist~”
“R-Ren!”
There, in front of him, was Ren! In all his succubus glory. His body was completely stripped of his clothes, which allowed Jaune to see the small swelling that formed breasts on his chest, and finally see the main difference in his friend in this world~
“Y-you’re a girl!”
“Hmm~ yes~ please don’t let me down, Master~”
There, the secret place where Ren was shamelessly sticking his fingers was nothing more than a small pink slit, which seemed to drool like a waterfall.
Ren was a girl, and she was only a few centimeters away from being impaled by the needy member of the Ex-Knight.
And Jaune simply froze at his options of how to proceed.
