There was also another thing that caught Will's eye in this mess— a blue, thick notebook. It was half-open, a pen stuck inside it to mark the page, causing it to not close properly. It intrigued Will.
A side of him didn't want to go through it. After all, it was Mike's privacy. How would he feel if Mike went through his stuff? What if this was a dairy or something like that? It would be rude to go through someone's private thoughts on purpose, after all.
On the other side, Mike didn't care about anything Will did at all. It wasn't a very Mike thing to do. Most of the things Mike did this summer didn't really feel like him. Maybe the notebook would hold an answer that Will so desperately needed right now, an answer to why Mike hasn't really been Mike lately.
If there was any reason behind what Will was doing, it was pure worry and concern.
