Jon blinks, then looks back towards the tavern.
"Erm…I don't believe knights can be bought outright? Perhaps there are services they provide for a fee, but…"
"No, doll. I was asking how much you charge. Whatever your date was paying, I can double it, surely."
Charge? Doll? The hell is this man on about? Perhaps it's not too late to just endure the tavern after all. Can't get much worse than whatever this is.
