"Done with your princeling so soon?" Teft asks gruffly, and Adolin shrugs.
"Not my princeling," he says.
Gaz snorts, jerking his head at something over Adolin's shoulder. "Sure he's not." Adolin twists, still squatting, and looks behind him to see the Kholin princes exiting the Bridge Four barracks and walking toward them.
He sighs, re-wrapping Teft's arm before standing and turning around.
"I thought I made myself clear," he says to them, crossing his arms over his chest.
"I'm not leaving you here," Kaladin says, quiet and determined.
