Summary
Following the slaying of the Great Red Dragon, Will embraced Hannibal, finally understanding, and threw both of them off of the cliff they were on. Somehow, despite the fall, despite their wounds, despite the ice cold water below, they survived. One could almost think it was God’s will, them still being alive.
Months later, after their recovery, Will accompanies Hannibal to a little chapel atop a hill, somewhere in the countryside. Together, they worship.
