Satoru had woken up late one day to a silent apartment. Suguru had obviously been off in class, and, if the place the sun was in the sky was anything to go by, he wouldn’t be back for some time. When Satoru had stumbled into the kitchen, bumping into the counter and almost knocking down a chair in his haste to get some water into his system, he looked into the fridge to grab the water filter, only to be greeted by a bright yellow sticky note.
Here’s some breakfast for you, sleepyhead. Don’t forget we’re getting drinks with Shoko tonight!
He had, upon catching himself smiling stupidly at the note, promptly said to himself, “Shit.”
