All the lights are off in town and he's got nowhere to go. He doesn't even know where he is for crying out loud! He doesn't know the date or anything that could be helpful in the slightest! It doesn't help that his glasses are cracked and he can't see that well.
He wants this all to be over.
As he walks around the unknown town, he spots some stairs and there is a sign that seems to be in English but it's broken and cracked down the middle. De Nes. "Deh-knees? Anime... Denny's ?"
He pinches the bridge of his nose and thinks that he's an idiot but then he focuses and realizes he can hear noise from it. Noise equals people, people equals warmth, and warmth is what he needs right now.Update: 03/17/2026
Alright, there's going to be a pause in updated for a while. We only have five more chapters until the end of ACT TWO so what I'm going to do is write all of those and then post them in one shot. Should be done by the end of the month, might be done by next week. We'll see. Feel free to give a reread in the meantime. ACT THREE is... well. A lot happen in the span of thirty chapters. Prologue - Ch. 33: After leaving Aman, Mablung finds himself in Angbands mines, eventually catching the eye of the Enemy himself. Despite his Master's cruelty he finds himself falling for him.
Melkor hates the elves and especially the Noldor, his slave means nothing to him - or does he?Ch. 34 - Ch. 61: Angband has fallen and Mablung has to get used to being free again, finding a new family and home in Greenwood and finally being able to explore Middle-Earth. When he hears that Melkor is supposed to be in Imladris, he hurries to get there. But Melkor is not, how he expected him to be after his long imprisonment.
Ch. 62 - present: When Melkor is ordered back to Aman, Mablung goes with him, intending to plea for mercy for Melkor. Will they finally be able to live together in peace?
