There’s always been a lingering precedent- Buck was born to save, born to die trying to at the very least. Buck couldn’t save Daniel, could barely save Chris, dragged Eddie across hot pavement under a burning fire truck, couldn't save his sister or his parents from the lifelong heartbreak of losing a child.
Buck was born to save. He’s just not too good at much else.

Summary
Eddie clears his throat, shifting his eyes from Buck’s hands and chest and up to Buck’s face, because he absolutely wasn’t checking out his best friend while he was holding a tiny kitten.
“Eddie,” Buck’s voice is urgent, his hands uncurling to reveal the tiny, fluffy black kitten with white socks. “She looks like Bobby.”
Eddie blinks at the kitten for a long moment, because he has no idea how Buck is making that kind of connection.
“She has Bobby’s eyes,” Buck insists, turning the kitten to look at him again. “Not in color, obviously, but in attitude. The vibes.”

Summary
People assume a lot of things about Kaminari Denki when they meet him. They assume that he's not the brightes bulb in the shed, that he never knew pain and heartbreak, and that he only ever wanted to be a hero.
Quite frankly: No.
No to all of those.
Denki is smarter than anyone believes, more capable and competent than one may assume of him. He has known the pain and heartbreak of losing someone close to him and, well...
He is very ambitious, let's keep it at that for now. It's just that his ambitions aren't what others expect of him, and not for the reasons they expect either.

Summary
It's cold, where they buried them. It's something Hen's always silently complained about. Whether it's night or day, summer or fall; when Hen visits Green Hill Cemetery, she pulls a jacket tightly around herself, and she still always feels—cold.
On the hottest day of the summer, Hen stands at the space between Eddie and Buck's graves, and she is freezing. The jacket does nothing to help, but if she's being honest with herself, she didn't expect it to.
It didn't help when it was only Buck's grave that she was visiting, and it doesn't help now that she has to buy two bouquets and clean two headstones and grieve two brothers.
(Or, eventually, everyone has to move on.)

Arthur watched, unable to fully comprehend the events that had seemingly just crashed and burned in front of him rather than calmly unfold. He turned to look at the other knights who only shrugged as Mordred sank lower into his seat, lips pressed into a pout as he picked at his food.
“I…” He started and paused, taking a moment to gather his thoughts “Why do you want Merlin to like you so badly?” He finally sighed. Mordred stopped playing with his food, glancing up before looking at the door the servant in question had exited through
“Because he’s Merlin.” He said as if that provided any sort of answer.
Arthur didn’t deserve this. He did his best to be a good person. Maybe this was some kind of divine intervention saying he needed to up his charity game. He needed to give the lower town a bigger tax break or something. Perhaps ride out and save three more damsels than usual.
"He has a point," Gwaine piped up as he inhaled another mead "He is Merlin."

Merlin hates Mordred and Mordred is determined to put an end to that. Arthur is convinced that this child is after his man. -
