Their whole life its just been Tommy and Tubbo against the world, especially the past 3 years theyve been in foster care. One day, some guy with a hero complex comes along with his blunt and quiet son and a scarily tall musician son and theyre all convinced they’re gonna be the boys’ new family. Phil’s fostered kids before, apparently both his sons used to be “problem kids” in the system before he adopted them. Clearly he has a good track record that Tommy and Tubbo can’t wait to break. They arent looking for a new family, they have each other. So what Phil’s giving them everything theyve ever wanted in a father, theyre just fine on their own.

Selectively mute Tubbo with a secret limp and his protective and explosively angry brother, Tommy get a new foster placement, Philza Craft. Phil certainly wasnt expecting all the trauma and secrets (who keeps a limp and their knowledge of sign language a secret??) that came with these two kids, but surprisingly, an old stab wound and an alleged attempted murder arent the weirdest things hes had to deal with. One of his kids came from a literal murder cult. Things certainly get a lot worse before they start getting better.

It’s quiet as Sapnap presumes Dream swallows his bite of food. “Hello.”
“He’s so fucking aggravating,” Sapnap seethes into the blankets as a reply, and he faintly hears Dream snort.
“You’re supposed to be studying,”
“I can’t when Jacobs is in there! It’s like he doesn’t even care that I have a test tomorrow!”
Even though he can’t see the other man, he can feel the exasperated shake of his head. “Why didn’t you just bring your books here then?”
“Would’ve taken too long. I just needed to leave.”
Dream hums, the clinking of a utensil against ceramic signaling he has nothing more to say. He lets Sapnap lay there while he eats, letting the silence and the company of a friend settle his nerves.
A University AU where Sapnap plays football, Karl's an art student, and they do not get along. That is, until Sapnap can't seem to not notice Karl's painted nails, and decides fighting is just so exhausting.

Summary
Far from the conflict and conspiracy currently plaguing the capital, Dream, George and Sapnap return for their third and final year at Dantalion Academy.
Some of their friends are gone - stationed at Port Regent to diffuse religious tensions; others are getting dangerously close to marrying Dream's sister - *cough* Tommy. Things seem to be going well between Sapnap and Dream's fiancée while things between Dream and Sapnap's companion are... more complicated than ever.
With the return to school, will George finally wrest himself from that which still haunts him? Is it even possible while his ghost is still living and breathing? What will come of the assassination attempt on the king? Or of Dream's engagement to the girl his best friend loves?
Far from conflict and conspiracy, Dantalion was meant to protect and prepare them for the world beyond it's walls. It failed them on the first count so when the world comes to call, will it have failed to prepare them as well?

Day 7: Soulmate AU and Weapons
"Who's that?" Dream heard Sapnap ask from the driver's seat.
"Bad, Sap, meet Goggles," Dream sighed. "World-class sniper, asshole criminal, and my soulmate. Apparently."
"What?" Dream heard his two teammates exclaim.
"You still have me on your file as codename Goggles?" George snickered. "Tell me you can't hunt down a sniper without telling me you can't hunt down a sniper," George mumbled sarcastically.
"Yeah okay," Dream rolled his eyes before loading his gun and shooting it in George's direction again.
The rules were very easy. Simply put, soulmates are not able to physically harm each other. Not fatally anyway. No punching, no hitting, no weapons as well including knives, guns, not even a baseball bat. Rules are still unclear about second-hand injuries like drowning and tripping, you know, convenient accidents.
Most of the time, this works out very well for people. You wouldn't want to fatally harm your soulmates.
But then again, most people weren't snipers whose soulmates are special agents that are out to get them.
