Summary
May Parker hated these calls. Actually, as much as she had grown to tolerate, and then respect, and now even liked the man, anytime she saw an incoming call from “TS,” her heart rate jumped up. And with good reason. Usually if he was calling her, instead of texting, especially this time of night, there was an excellent chance some of her nephew’s blood was on the outside of his body.
May's POV on one of the late-night trips to Medbay because Spider-man bit off more than he can chew, yet again.
Febuwhump day #5: "That's Gonna Scar," and day #24: Bloody Clothes
Part of the post-Homecoming series "Strands in the Rope," which attempts to show how Tony and Peter's relationship might have developed between Homecoming and Infinity War, but can stand alone, also. Mostly. These stories are starting to build on each other a little more as we start counting down time to Infinity War.

Summary
Cape Cod is not Queens.
Queens is Mr. Delmar’s shop, good pizza, waking up to the garbage truck rolling down the street, the smell of May’s latest disgusting meatloaf concoction wafting through the apartment hallways before Peter even steps through the door. Queens is home.
Cape Cod smells like saltwater and sounds like screaming children. There’s no good pizza, or garbage trucks with perpetually angry drivers; it’s just endless sand and sky and water. Cape Cod is the furthest thing from home that Peter could ever imagine.
-
Or: The Way Way Back AU where Peter is reluctantly dragged by May and her new asshole boyfriend, Quentin, to spend the summer in Cape Cod. Summer gets a whole lot more interesting when Peter makes friends with the eccentric manager of Water Wizz, who seems to take a liking to Peter in all his teenage-awkwardness glory.

Summary
It's December 16th. The anniversary of Tony's parents' death. He's usually not alone on this day, and struggles with how to handle his grief, with a little too much temptation at hand. Thankfully, one of his reasons for avoiding temptation and old, toxic habits these days shows up to remind him why. But what's wrong with the kid's hair?

Summary
All Peter wanted to was to cook May a really nice dinner for when she got home from her Christmas Eve shift. He'd thought it out and was excited to put it all together-- until the knife slipped and he accidentally cut his thumb. The good news is, he knows exactly who to call.
“Hey, Mr. Stark!” Peter greeted with as much enthusiasm as he could pull together given the circumstances. “I, uh, I know it’s Christmas Eve and all, but can I ask you a really quick question?”

… a guide by Peter Parker.
OR:
In which:
1) The Avengers and Rhodey are 100% positive Peter is Tony's kid (it was obvious, come on),
2) Tony insists Peter isn’t his kid (where did they even get that idea from, seriously?),
and 3) Peter is caught in the middle (he was just trying to finish his homework before being jumped by the next supervillain of the week. He was not entirely successful.)But hey, why not cause some chaos in the meantime?

Summary
Peter hadn't talked to Mr. Stark since battling the Avengers in Germany, three months ago. Which wouldn't be a problem, except that his class was now taking a field trip to Stark Industries, and he still didn't actually have an internship. Not to mention both Mr. Stark and Happy had been ignoring him.
Things were going disastrously— as expected— but at least the employees in one of the R&D labs seemed grateful for his help in solving one of their problems.
Then his day gets somehow weirder when Mr. Stark offers him an actual internship. Oh, how quickly things change.
OR: Peter's field trip to Stark Industries, except set in the time frame between Civil War and the start of Homecoming.
ft. Peter being a smart little shit, Tony being begrudgingly impressed, and Happy being annoyed per usual.

Summary
Flash Thompson is well aware that he's an asshole. In fact, he's even proud of the fact that he's an asshole because it meant that he doesn't have to take shit from anyone. Especially not Parker, who keeps insisting that he knows Tony Stark. He absolutely does not know Tony Stark, and this is a fact, because Tony Stark is a Billionaire-Superhero and Peter Parker wears jackets with holes in them. Enough said.

Or, Flash finds out Peter actually knows Tony Stark.

Summary
"I'm not a maniac, Peter."
"Diggity denial! I love it." A young voice shouts from across the lab. Rhoedy stares. What the fuck?
"Denial?" Tony shouts, head popping up from behind a workbench. "Peter, my dearest intern, I'll have you know I pay you too much for this kind of sass." The kid makes a face and he taps the table, inspecting his robot. Tony throws a tool to the boy, Peter, apparently, who catches with ease without looking up.
Or, Rhodey meets Peter Parker. He decides being a cool uncle is a not a want, but a need.
