Getting caught was one thing and Jason was used to it. Kidnapping and torture is part of his job. The irritating thing was trying to get his interogator to understand that he did not have the information the guy wanted. And it was all Tim's fault because this was Red Robin's case and the kid just knew how to guilt-trip him. The next time Jason sees his brother, he would demand a full refund for all the injuries he had to suffer through.

In running away from his temporary place of captive, Jason got trapped in a blizzard. To make things worse, he failed to notice the danger hidden beneath the heavy blanket of snow.
"Upon inspection, it wasn't as horrible as he had feared. The trap hadn't crunched through his bones (although the possibility of a minor fracture was still there) and there was space between the teeth for him to fit his fingers through. Tentatively, he tried to pry it open. It didn't budge, only dragging it across his torn skin, warm blood dripping down his fingers.

On hindsight, Jason probably should have heeded his injuries from the previous night and stayed in. Maybe he should have swallowed his pride and asked for some Bat-assistance. But 20/20 was stupid, he was already in this situation and didn’t want to think of mistakes and regrets. Besides, the Bats and him were tenuous allies at best, nothing more. No reason for them to answer his call for help.
