Summary
"My goal remains unchanged, even now," his resolve was unwavering, yet Sylas failed to suppress the slight shiver in his voice. "I envision a Demacia without kings, lords, or any other who would trample upon the people. One day, your crown and throne will be no more. I will see that it is done, Jarvan."
He spoke the truth of his heart, as he did not wish to hide from Jarvan. Sylas gazed into the king's eyes, observing anxiously. Jarvan stared back, quiet and dumbstruck. The silence was excruciating, but Sylas refused to regret his choice. He is what he is, and he wanted Jarvan to accept him for what he is.
And then, like the first warm breeze of spring, Jarvan laughed.
"You know," said Jarvan, as if what he heard was nothing worth holding grudge against. "That reminds me of a painting."

Summary
When Zed commanded Kayn to find recruits for the Order of Shadows outside Ionia, Rhaast imagined this mission to be an epic journey of gathering the founders of his future Empire of Runeterra. He did not intend those "founders" to be a bunch of wretched outcasts, and this trip definitely did not turn into he and Kayn's honeymoon.

Summary
"Due to changing circumstances, new evidence challenge our traditional views on draconic genealogy. Previously, it was widely known that dragon cubs do not necessarily inherit the appearance and element of their parents: the offspring of a firedrake isn't necessarily a firedrake as well. Their appearances and elements seem quite random, and the cause behind this randomness is currently still unknown. However, the most recent dragon-human union brings this topic to a new level of controversy. It suggests that blood in dragon heritage might be even less important than we previously thought."
-- Anden Mayne, Doctor of Draconic Genealogy at Wrenwall Institution of DracologyA sequel of The Golden Prince.

Summary
"Viego! I lied. You are born a human, not a monster. Everything I said, I said them to turn you into me, and to keep you by my side. I manipulated you."
"I know. And you know I know. Why say it now?"
"Isn't this what humans do? Confess? Be honest? I can do it too."
"It's too late now. Goodbye, maker."Series

If Morgana could choose her nature, she would happily die of old age, spared from the terrible reality that the time she spent with her sister had become a blink of an eye in her eternal life. Alas, she remained accursedly immortal, and sorrow lasts just as long. She was doomed to watch all traces of Kayle's humanity vanish from this world, until even Morgana herself could not recall her sister's mortal visage.

Summary
Looking back, Darius wondered why he decided the pretty boy would be his lifelong nemesis, after having fought so many other monstrosities. But of course, monstrosity within is scarier than without, and sometimes children can be crueller than monsters, if you put a blade in their hands when they're too young. Just like Darius himself.
