Jason saved Dick from the destruction of Blüdhaven and Dick, without letting anyone know including Batman and Robin that he was saved, especially by a crime lord, is presumed dead. Dick is dying (Ha! There's a shift. A beat of silence before it was cut off by Roy’s gasp. “Wait— Jay. Ho—hold on. Fuck— warn a guy!” Dick heard his voice breaking in a groan at the end.
Which was… hmm.
“You never want me to. You like it messy,” was Jason’s reply. His voice was softer, and there’s something about it… there’s something… oh no. There’s something weird about Jason’s voice. A little too thick. Like his mouth was— nope.

“Roy?”
The man in question grunted, eyes fluttering open slightly. Slowly, he grinned. “Hey, babyboy.”
Dick blinked, his eyebrow raising slowly. “Well isn't this a nice surprise.”
“Wally invited me to crash here,” Roy replied, his hold around Dick’s waist tightening just slightly as he buried his face in Dick’s neck like he belonged there. Dick couldn't help but to run his fingers through his best friend’s messy bedhead.
“But I didn't invite you to steal my boyfriend,” a familiar voice grumbled behind Roy— the voice Dick had actually been expecting.
Roy moved his shoulder just enough for Dick to catch a glimpse of his boyfriend’s messy red hair and cute, pouty face— squished against the pillow behind Roy.
Roy smirked against Dick’s neck, eyes closed, entirely too pleased with himself. “Didn't steal him. Just borrowed. Sharing is caring, babe.”

Summary
They sat in silence for a moment. The only sound filling the air was the crinkle of foil wrappers and the occasional crunch of artificial pastry crust being bitten into as they stared blankly at the black TV screen.
Dick broke first. “So. Gonna tell me what brings you here in the middle of the night? Or do I have to guess? Because I have some guesses.”
Tim shrugged. “Go for it.”
Dick gave him a long, sideway glance, chewing slowly like he was seriously weighing his options. “Okay. Let’s see. My first guess is that you pissed off the League. Again. And now there's a hit out on you.”
Tim didn't respond. Kept nibbling his Pop Tart like it was the most interesting thing in the world. Any flicker of emotion would give away too much— and Dick’s way too good at sniffing out lies.
Dick tried again. “You got dumped by Kon.”
Tim raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
“You told me to guess. I’m guessing,” Dick shot back, entirely unapologetic.
Or Tim did something and flees to hide with his brother.

The door to the warehouse creaks open, spilling in a silver of yellow light. His captor finally makes an appearance. The figure that steps inside is broad-shouldered, wrapped in leather and kevlar, a red helmet gleaming dully in the dark.
Red Hood.
Dick’s stomach twists. Great. Of fucking course it’s Gotham’s newest crime lord wannabe. The one who’s getting on Batman’s nerves lately and mowing down the underworld with guns and severed heads like he’s trying to win a competition.
“Company’s here,” Jason sing-songs from his crate, kicking his dangling leg. His kneecap dangles grotesquely, but the grin on his face is all kid-brother mischief. “Don't have too much fun while I’m gone, big brother!”
The kid is gone before Dick can blink.
Or
Dick gets kidnapped by Red Hood except… there's a twist to it.

“Jason’s been… de-aged.”
There's a long, thick moment of silence.
Dick’s brain does not— will not— process the word.
He stares at the phone like it’s just said something in a language he doesn't speak.
De-aged.
The word sits there, heavy and wrong, refusing to connect to anything meaningful. His brain skids around it, searching for context, logic, a punchline— anything that makes sense.
It doesn't find one.
“...What?” He finally says, his voice flat despite how hard his pulse has started to thud in his ears.
Bruce doesn't answer right away.
Jason gets turned into a toddler and it's up to Dick to take care of him.
