As tempers flare and negotiations break down after the Hundred Year’s War, the only issue the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom can agree on is that Azula is dangerous. The fallen princess is bartered as a negotiation point and after her bending is taken, she is sent to the Southern Water Tribe as an indentured servant to help them rebuild after the war.
Fate intervenes and Azula is offered a new gift as her old life is stripped away. She sets her mind to becoming a Life Binder and Azula looks to begin a new life as the world she grew up with fades away. Becoming the Jade Sage, she finds that even with her new skills, the world is a dangerous place and her past may still come back to haunt her.

Azula was born from the sun. She was a daughter of Agni and thus was better than anyone else. Fire was flowing in her veines and electricity spiked in her soul. She soaked in the warmth that came with the fear people had for her, she soaked in the warmth to be followed without questions by her friends. She burnt constantly, too hot for anyone to come close, too bright.
When her eyes fell for the first time on the man she was to marry, her wrath was glacial.
When she understood the goal of her father, she accepted that she would never know warmth again.or Azula came back home with everything, proud and victorious. Ba Sing Se has fallen, the Avatar is dead and his bunch of misfits could as well be, the dragon of the West is in shackles and Zuko is back. Everything is perfect (not that she would allow it to be any other way). Or it is perfect, until the Fire lord decides to marry her off.
or I read somewhere that Azula was supposed to be in an arranged marriage during season 3 but it was abandoned because it did not fit the direction of the show so here I am. Including revolutions and sibling bonding.

I am writing the fic I wish I could read, this is my first time writing a fic and English is not my first language, it is not even my second language. I am not a fan of smut, so I doubt I'll write any. I just want this story to get out of my head only for my sake, even if no one reads it. I don't consider Korra canon, so I will not include it in the story (even the references to the first avatar and whatnot).
Pretty much canon compliant, with some slight divergence (I never did quite like that Aang unlocks his chakras by deus ex rock chiropractor). Also, I am a full on adult, so I hope I can write teens in a correct way, mostly so I can show how they mature and change while they age. I do intend to cover at least a decade, if possible.
