It all started during their Outlaw comeback. Stress takes over and everyone sticks to the person they felt most comfortable with, Seonghwa and Hongjoong; Wooyoung, Yeosang, and San; Yunho with Mingi. It felt mostly right, Matz and the 99z, but where did the maknae fit? Sure he wasn’t the most sociable but he liked being included, even if he wasn’t necessarily touching them.

He shoved the boy off to the side, the more excited one grumbling about just wanting to meet his friend's new roommate. That’s when the omega saw the final boy sitting on a bed in the room. He softly smiled before getting up and moving towards him.
“Sorry about them. I’m Kim Hongjoong, the one who actually lives here.” The final statement being pointed towards the first boy, a small “Hey” coming from him as the second dragged him into the bathroom so the two roommates could have a proper introduction.
Hongjoong looked at him expectantly, his soft smile making the younger boy, who was still standing in the doorway, feel more comfortable.
“J-Jongho.. Choi Jongho,” the boy quickly whispered out. Hongjoong chuckled slightly.
“It’s nice to meet you,” Hongjoong stated. With that, the two in the bathroom bounded out.

Then it just had to be rudely interrupted by the sound of the door creaking open and footsteps following. There was a small peek at a cat ear before a face was visible, then the door shut again and the only noise following was quiet whispering—probably Wooyoung and Mingi up to something again.

The one with the deeper voice cleared his throat. “Look, all we were told to do was track you down and escort you to the kingdom. We’re unsure as to why the King is asking for you specifically. It could have to do with your lineage.”
“My… lineage?” Wooyoung echoed. His lineage was nothing impressive. His parents passed away when he was younger. His mother, a once strong omega, was captured by a rival pack when Wooyoung was in his early teens, and his father, filled with grief and heartbreak, took his own life just a year later.
His lineage held no importance to him. All Wooyoung wanted to do was live the rest of his bleak life out in peace, even if he was stuck cooking all the time and avoiding socialization as much as possible.
