Regulus Black is sick of Hogwarts. It's a school that's run academically by an idiot (Dumbledore), socially by another idiot (his brother), and most importantly, it's a school that his two best friends no longer attend.
Regulus wants desperately to move to Beauxbatons with his only friends, but his parents would never agree to it... unless, of course, there was a scandal that only leaving Hogwarts could solve. And Regulus knows just the way to do that. Enter: James Fleamont Potter.
There's nobody Walburga Black hates more than the blood traitor who corrupted Sirius and stole him away from her. Pretending to date James is the perfect scandal, and if Walburga were to send Regulus to Beauxbatons? Well, that would certainly solve the issue.
The only problem is, Regulus isn’t sure he wants that scandal solved anymore. And it might just be too late to do anything about it.

Summary
They’ve somehow all made it through their harrowing fifth year. Sirius is alive and Regulus and Draco are safe from harm’s way for the time being. They were able to escape becoming Death Eaters, Regulus escaping that fate in his second life this time, but their decision will bring consequences for others. At least they have each other, their friends, and Sirius.
It is hard to have a normal year when another wizarding war has begun. Terror is on the rise again, and something has to be done about the Horcruxes. Regulus won’t fail again to destroy them. He can’t afford to. But first, he must wage a war between Regulus from the past, who wishes to destroy all Horcruxes, and the Regulus from the present, who is friends with Harry Potter.
Surely nothing bad will happen this year, despite all the odds stacked against them.
