Lycans.
A race descendent from wolves, a powerful species that took over the human race for centuries, made themselves the power houses. Lycans were not beast, but they were not civil. However over time lycans started to die off and packs became less common to see around.
Takoda. an alpha lycan who seek to avoid the whole werewolf talk all together, he saw lycans as nothing but beasts, even if he himself was one, he grew up with humans and acted like one. but when the forest called out to him, he couldn’t resist, couldn’t say no, that’s when he runs into a pack that changes his whole life, but could he really accept this change of heart or will the pack show their true colors from his hatred towards them?

Summary
The elven people known as the xarakai are known for two things: first, for their mastery of planar travel, as demonstrated by their multiverse-spanning voyages, carried out in massive, high-(magi-)tech ships the size of cities; and second, for the peculiarities of their society, in which some are marked to lead, some to follow; and some, to submit.
Mitha Iralsthar, until recently an ordinary human, signed up as a passenger on a xarakai ship because he was interested in the first part — but the second part has turned out to be far more than he was prepared for, now that he's been marked as x'anam, the lowest of the three ranks, and one that comes with many expectations — but also, with its own unique rewards.
(AKA: An original, mostly-D&D-compatible culture with strong alpha/beta/omega dynamics, and an unfortunate — or perhaps fortunate — human who gets to find out how it all works first-hand.)

Summary
Just a year into his search for the Avatar, Prince Zuko is swept off his ship during a fierce storm. Heartsick and alone, he eventually makes his way to a certain forest in the Earth Kingdom. After defending himself from Fire Nation soldiers using his bending, Zuko is captured by Jet, who is delighted to have an ashmaker for a prisoner.
When Aang, Katara, and Sokka arrive, it's too late; Zuko is left with no name, no humanity, and no sanity.
This fic has been described as an "angst cake with sprinkles of humor and sweetness on top."
